Furrowing his eyebrows, Taehyung looks up at her in confusion. A quiet gasp leaves her lips and she pulls her hand away.

"Oh! My bad,"

Taehyung gives her a tight-lipped smile and opens the folder.

"I've just never worked for such a handsome boss."

He looks up at her.

"Was that inappropriate?"

"Yes," Taehyung replies. "It was."

"Sorry, Mr. Kim. I just wanted to let you know I have my options open for anything."

"Kari," Taehyung takes his glasses off. "You just got the job and I would hate to fire you so soon. It won't look good on future job applications."

Kari looks down in shame, "You're right, Mr. Kim. I'm sorry."

"Thank you for the papers. You're excused now."

Kari bows and exits his office. Taehyung looks at the papers then at the computer. He scoffs, leaning back on the desk chair and looking up at the ceiling.

How can I focus on anything after what happened last night?

"Hobi!" You shout, running down the stairs and towards Hoseok.

"Y/N!" You greet each other with a tight hug and he pulls away. "It's so nice to see you two again! How are you kiddos?"

"Good." Jungkook answers.

"Great now that you're here." You smile and Hoseok ruffles your hair.

"I can't wait to spend some time with you, missy. You always have something crazy going on in your life."

You scoff, "Not always."

"Alright, well who calls dibs to hang out with me first?"

"Me!" Jungkook answers first and you're close second.

He sticks his tongue out and you roll your eyes.

"Sorry, honey," Hoseok chuckles. "We'll hang out later."

After hours of being home alone and bored, Jungkook and Hoseok finally arrive home. You and he head to the backyard and sit under the little gazebo.

"What's up, Y/N?" Hoseok asks. "Why'd you wanna talk out here?"

"Because it's kind of something I don't want Jungkook to hear."

"So it's serious?"

"Little bit."

Hoseok shrugs, "Well, go on."

"So there's this guy–"

"Please don't tell me you're crushing on your stepbrother." Hoseok interrupts.

It's not a crush that's happening between us. Much worse actually.

"No," You chuckle nervously. "It's not about him."

"Okay. Good."

"Well, there's this guy, Taehyung, who I kinda find very attractive..."

"Sleep with him," Hoseok says nonchalantly and you let out a laugh.

"That's the problem. I can't."

"And why not?"

"Because he... he's twenty six and also a good friend of my dad's."
