Ray's POV

I finished up with my magic class ,which taught me how to shape-shift which is awesome. After wandering around the castle aimlessly like a goose, which I really might have been if i shape shifted but I didn't want Lillian fainting on seeing a goose casually roaming the halls. We talked a little more and I found out that fey have an odd fear of geese. I'm afraid not even I can explain that.

Finally( and I mean FINALLY) I reached the corridor outside my room and was about to go I when I saw a glass frame on the wall. Inside it was a simple ,yet elegant gold chain. Tears filled my eyes as I found my self thrown back in time.

"Seriously Ray? I told you not to come now", a tall fourteen year old guy glares at me. His features were clear cut and handsome,with grey eyes and fair skin. I was Darren,who was at the time my boyfriend.
"How was I supposed to know who would be here with her?", I replied weakly.
I had gone to Darren's house to surprise him,even though he told me that he was always busy on Saturdays. I thought that he deserved a break.
On the sofa sat a girl who was very short,with mousey brown hair and hazel eyes.

The popular girl, who every single boy was after. I thought that Darren wasn't interested in her, but clearly I was wrong.
"Is she what you're busy with?", I asked , tears streaming down my eyes.
"Darren glared fiercely at me ." Yes, you idiot. I don't love you. I don't even like you anymore. You're stupid and I hate you . I just used you to get Fira. So you can go now", he raged at me.
"Like James", I stated feebly.
"Yes, I played you like James,now get OUT!"
I ran blindly out of his house, ignoring the kiss that they did right in front of me. My hand went to my neck as I ripped out a simple gold chain that Darren had gotten me for my birthday and threw it in a bush.
Tears streamed down my face as I ran back to my house.
I was used once again.

With a gasp, I pulled back into reality. This was still happening, even though I confided in Percy and Leo.
Okay, I'll be honest, I told Percy everything and Leo just one thing. That one thing from the night of my coronation. I swear I'll tell him the rest later , but I'm not ready now. Percy is family. I love Leo ,but I'll tell him later.

I honestly do feel slightly guilty though, but there's nothing I can do about that, other than tell him,but I'll do that after.

Slightly mollified, I enter my room to take a nap.
