That morning, the bedroom door was open and Marcus wasn't there. I looked in the bathroom. He wasnt there.
I went in the kitchen and found a bouquet of roses and a note.
Sorry for how I acted last night. I had an argument with my boys and I was stressed. I'll see you tonight ;)
I smiled sheepishly to myself and hugged the roses to my chest.
I walked into the bedroom to see that Marcus left his phone though. I decided to not be the crazy girlfriend and leave his phone there. Until he got a phone call.
"Hello?" I said. I heard breathing and a womanly giggle.
The person hung up and I didn't think any more if it. At least I tried.
