The breakfast was uncomfortable to say the least. There were so many of them, the whole class except Bakugou being there and all, that they had to sit at separate tables, which made talking awkward. Uraraka was lead to a ten person table with Iida, Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina, Sero, Todoroki, Tokoyami, Tsu and Hagakure. The others were scattered around the restaurant in 2 and 3 seaters. They sat down and decided how they were going to split the check, but then sat in silence. It wasn't the right time to be joking and telling stories, which is what they usually did to pass the time, but there wasn't anything else they could discuss related to what had happened. The only mildly interesting thing that happened was Mineta trying to crawl under the table but being kicked in the face by Tsu. She was starting to think it was a bad idea to bring all of them there, when she felt her phone vibrate. It wasn't just her phone though. A whole symphony of buzzing and ringtones was coming from all along the table and throughout the restaurant. Uraraka knew what that meant. Someone had typed in the group chat. She was slightly annoyed. Who wanted to say something so badly that they had to make everyone's phones go off? But when she looked, she was surprise to see that they got a text from Aizawa.
"Who even put him in the group chat?" Kaminari asked.
"I did." Iida said a few seats down. "I thought that if something important were to come up, that it would be the best way for us to be informed."
Some people groaned. It was just the sort of think Iida would do. Uraraka opened the text, and read it over. Her heart nearly stopped when she did.
Aizawa: We've got some news regarding Midoriyas whereabouts. All of you should come down to the police station. I've already informed your parents.
After that there was a struggle as the group of 18 people struggled to fit through the doors all at once. Her breakfast plans were canceled, but his was the best thing Uraraka had heard all week.
At the police station, everyone was crowded in the lobby, waiting for Aizawa to come and tell them the what they'd found out. Todoroki and Iida were pacing anxiously, while everyone else was looking worried, hoping it wasn't bad news. Many were talking amongst themselves.
Kirishima was talking to Sero.
"What do you think they're going to tell us? All of the pro hero's seemed to be kind of stressed out when we've seen them."
"The League hasn't really done something in a while. I mean it's not like I was waiting or anything! I'm just saying it was matter of time before something happened." Sero replied.
"It's really stressing me out now!" Kirishima exclaimed, putting his hands on his head.
Tsu walked over and joined the conversation.
"I think everyone's stressed out ribbit. It's been 2 days already. Last time we had a way to find Bakugo with Momo's tracker, but now we don't have any idea how to find him." She looked down sadly, like she'd reminded herself of it to.
"Yeah, but in the message he said they had a lead, so that should be good news right?" Kirishima said.
"Yeah, but it could always be a false alarm. Ribbit."
Sero butted in. "You think they'd call us in here on a false alarm?"
Both Kirishima and Tsu shrugged.
Not liking where the conversation was headed, Uraraka decided to wander over to the other side of the lobby.
"Do you think they found him?" Mina whispered to Jirou.
"I hope they have, but I hope they didn't find him d-" Mina covered Jirous mouth with her hand, eyeing Uraraka, but she already knew what she was going to say. There was always the possibility that he was dead. She'd thought about it, and she didn't like it at all. She tried to put a smile on her face like Deku always did.
"I know he's not dead." She said to Jirou. "I know that Deku-kun wouldn't go down after just a couple of days."
"R-right. Yeah." Jirou said, looking like she regretted saying it.
Mina elbowed her one last time, then looked up at Uraraka.
"So if that whole time Midoriya was really Toga," she whispered "then that means that whole thing he said about finding someone was fake."
Uraraka felt her cheeks get hot. "Y-yeah. I guess so." Mina grinned. "But none of that matters if he's not safe. So that's why we have to make sure we're doing all we can to get him back." She said louder so everyone could hear.
"Yeah!" Kirishima said, raising his fist and causing most of the class to do the same.
Suddenly a door opened and Aizawa along with All Might and a few police officers walked out.
"Seriously, can you guys be any louder?" Aizawa asked, looking annoyed.
"Sorry! Aizawa Sensei!" The class apologized.
"Well come on then." He said, leading the group through the door they just came out of. They walked down a long hallway, and Uraraka was getting more and more anxious. Over the past days she'd either been in shock, feeling hopeless about the whole thing, or so nervous her whole body shook. All Might had a grim look on his face and the officers looked at them with pity on their faces. Those weren't good signs. She could tell that the rest of the class was starting to pick up on the bad atmosphere as well, because they whispered and shifted restlessly. Finally, they came to a door that looked like all the others, and it was like they were walking into a morgue with the look on their faces. When they walked in it looked like an interrogation room like the one they'd questioned her in the other day, but it was a lot bigger. Big enough to fit the whole class comfortably. The class was directed to stand up against one wall, and the adults sat around the large metal table in the center. Aizawa put his hands together and rested his head on them.
"We think we found him." He said, though his expression looked odd.
"That's great!" Iida said, and the rest of the class said similar words of relief.
"How did they find him so fast?" Mineta asked.
"They're the pro hero's and the police force what do you expect? Ribbit!" Tsu said.
"Yay!" Mina said, jumping up.
"Let me continue." Aizawa said, causing everyone to fall silent.
"How did you find him?" Uraraka asked, not being able to contain herself.
"Reports were coming in saying that the League of Villains was repeatedly spotted going in and out of a building in the middle of a warehouse district." He said, then he turned to All Might, who sighed like he'd been dreading that moment.
"We also have reports that there have been..." He hesitated, looking from Uraraka to Iida then Todoroki like he was trying to find the right words. He looked down, like he didn't want them to see his face. Finally after a long pause, he continued. "There have been some... noises coming from the building as well."
Uraraka was confused. "What do you mean noises?" Todoroki asked for her.
"I don't think you should have to-" but he stopped when Aizawa gave him a meaningful look. He sighed again, like it hurt to say the words, or like he didn't want whatever he was about to say to be true.
"Screams." He said quietly. "Screams of a boy coming from the building in the early hours of the morning."
The room was silent. Those words had pretty much confirmed everyone's worst fear: that their friend was being tortured by the League of Villains.
