"Okay, but we've got to get you out of here first." Uraraka said, pulling herself together. "I can carry you with my gravity." She said, and with a touch to his forehead, Midoriya started to float off the bed. The sound was awful. Like Velcro being torn off very slowly from the mix of blood and sweat sticking him to the bed. When he was finally up in the air, the large stain that covered half of his clothes was clearly visible, along with the blood still dripping from his arms.
"Let's go!" Uraraka said, doing her normal concentrated face she does when using her gravity. Iida knew she wouldn't be able to hold him forever, so he had to be ready to catch him if he fell.
Iida yelled out in his loudest voice as they ran while Uraraka pushed Midoriya gently through the air. "Everyone gather in the common area!"
Out of the corner of his eyes he saw doors open, but they didn't have time. They needed to get everyone together.
Running into the common room, more than half the class was already there. They started asking a million questions at once before Uraraka came down slightly behind him. Faces turned pale, people started crying, probably thinking he was dead or something.
"Hi guys." Midoriya said, raising his arm to wave but stopping as his wound came into better view. "How's it going?"
"But Midoriya just left." Kirishima said. He was still scraped up from Bakugos fighting, but it didn't seem to bother him.
"Bakugo was telling the truth." Iida said, trying to explain as quickly as possible. "The other Midoriya was a fake. It's the League of Villains. One of there quirks can make them turn into people by ingesting their blood." Iida suddenly got flashbacks of stain the hero killer and how he could stop people from moving by licking their blood. He shook the dark memories off. He looked into peoples faces. Some looked like they were going to faint. Others looked angry, like they couldn't believe that they hadn't noticed, just like Iida was.
"I know what you all are feeling, and trust me I'm feeling it too. But right now there's a League of Villains member heading towards out school, and we need to stop them."
"Midoriya." Iida jumped when he heard the voice behind him. Todoroki, along with Kaminari, Tsu and Mina, had just come down the stairs.
Todoroki seemed to be in shock, but you couldn't tell by his face. The three behind him had rushed down to Midoriyas side.
"What happened?!" Kaminari yelled, looking in disgust at the dried blood around Midoriyas wounds.
"You guys explain what happened to them and anyone else who comes down. When you're done follow us."
"Hey hold on." Todoroki and Sero said at the same time.
"I can stop the bleeding with my tape." Sero said, and within a few seconds a white strip had been wrapped around Midoriyas arms.
"Thanks Sero." Midoriya said, smiling the best he could.
"D-don't mention it buddy." Sero replied sadly.
Iida looked up at Todoroki, who'd also spoken. He said "I'm coming with you."
There were no objections whatsoever.
"Let's go then." Uraraka said, and they dashed out of the UA dorms.
Rushing through the cool night air, Iidas mind was wizzing with what had just happened in such a short amount of time. He had a million questions. Like how the League of Villains has gotten into the dorms in the first place. Or how did nobody hear what was going on in Midoriyas dorm room. He shook his head. He needed to focus. He set his eyes forward, alert of all movement in case someone was hiding somewhere. He glanced down at Midoriya. He seemed to be doing better now that the bleeding had stopped. His eyes were less dull and he seemed more awake.
"Don't look so worried Iida-Kun." He said, catching his gaze. "You guys are here now. That's all that matters to me." He said, repeating his words from earlier, smiling. Iida gritted his teeth. He didn't want to think about how alone his friend must have felt in his room, with no one coming for him as he was beaten up and cut.
"You're right. I'm just worried that we might have been able to do something more." He said, some of his feelings slipping out.
His green haired friend grinned understandingly, resting a shaky hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay Iida-Kun. You've done plenty."
His words made him feel a bit better, and so did the footsteps of all of their friends coming up behind them.
"You guys okay? Midoriya?" Kirishima asked. He looked even worse than he did before. He'd probably beaten himself up over stopping Bakugo when he'd turned out to be right.
"Yeah Kirishima-Kun. I'm-" Midoriya started to reply, but he stopped, focusing on something up ahead. Iida looked up from the warming sight of his friends to a cold fist on his heart when he saw a figure standing in the middle of the path. They had curly green hair and a freckle face. It was Midoriya, but not really. He knew it was a fake. They turned when they heard them.
"Oh! You guys. What are you..." Iida now heard how fake to voice sounded after hearing the real thing. They spotted Midoriya and sighed.
"You can't trick us anymore!" Mineta in the back yelled, and Todoroki came to the front to join Iida and Uraraka.
"Well. Looks like you got me." They said, shrugging. Then the fake image started to melt away into gross grey sludge. It melted and melted until there was only a girl standing there. She had blond hair put up into messily buns on the sides of her head, and had yellow eyes. She had sharp teeth almost like fangs, and her cheeks were red. He recognized her as Himiko Toga. One of the villains who attacked the training camp. She was completely naked, which probably had something to do with her quirk. Minetas probably having a field day. He thought. He readied himself for an attack, and so did everyone else. Todoroki activates his fire, Dark Shadow appeared next to Tokoyami, and Kirishimas arms got rigid from his hardening. Everyone was ready to fight.
"She has something in her hand." Todoroki whispered to him. Looking closely, Iida saw that the was a metal object in her right hand. He thought about Midoriyas warning earlier about her having a knife, but was surprised to see it was a flip phone. She was going to call for backup. Iida rushed forward with his engines, ready to rip the phone out of her hand, but before he could, something dark and purple appeared next the her.
"Oh I already called them." She said, giggling at Iidas lateness.
"Iida-Kun." He heard Uraraka say behind him. He looked at she had a queazy look on her face and looked like she was going to fall over. Obviously she'd used her gravity too much. "I'm going to drop him." She closed her eyes, straining to keep her injured friend from falling. Iida got there just in time as Midoriya fell into his arms. He grunted, obviously that had hurt his bruises and cuts.
"Sorry Midoriya." He whispered, turning his attention back to the villain in front of him. He now got what the mass next to her was. It was the villain with the warp quirk that had infiltrated to USJ and kidnaped Bakugo. That's how she got into Midoriyas room. He realized.
"Toga!" A deep firm voice came from the blackness. "Didn't Shigiraki tell you not to go along with this plan? He knew you'd get caught. Now look what you've gotten yourself into! The whole school knows you're here, or at least will.
"Sorry." She said, not sounding sorry at all. "But can I take Izuku with me? There so much more blood I can get out of him!"
"Okay," the voice sounded like it was talking to an annoying toddler. "But let's get out of here."
Iidas anger flared up. "You think I'm just going to let you take-" but in a second the warp had gone around his arms, and he felt his friend being yanked out of them. When he looked up Toga was pulling him through the warp 20 feet away. Midoriya had his arm outstretched and a desperate look in his eyes. "Iida-Kun! Everyone!" But his voice stopped, and the last look they got of him was his fingertips disappearing into the void.
