"B-But, Deku just left." Uraraka said in barely a whisper now.
The figure on the floor stirred, making them jump. The voice was raspy and in pain, but it was definitely Midoriyas voice. "He's a- fake." He managed to get out. He was weak and was struggling to move. His mind clearing, Iida could now see the bruises and scrapes all around his body. "The other me- its a fake. The League of Villains. It think it was her quirk. She used my blood. You need to warn the others." Midoriya was barely conscious now. He need serious help.
Uraraka, who was now crying, the shock wearing off, nodded.
"What's going on, ribbit?" Tsu asked from the doorway.
"Tsu-Chan, you need to run to warn everyone." Iida said. He was still slightly in shock, and his brain wasn't really processing what was going on, but his autopilot had taken over. The League of Villains was in the school, and they were the only ones who knew.
"About what?" She asked, obviously confused.
"That the Midoriya that just left was a fake, and that he needs to be stopped."
"What do you mea-" But the her eyes wandered to Midoriya who was still lying on the bed. Her eyes widened, and tears appeared in the corners of her eyes, of fear or worry for Midoriya, he didn't care. She just nodded and dashed off down the hall. He turned to Uraraka who was kneeling next to Midoriya and trying to figure out a way to move him. She tried lifting him up from under his arms, but he flinched and so she stopped.
"I-it's okay." He muttered. "Ive been here all day. I can wait a few more minutes."
"A-all day?" Uraraka said, the the tears coming down harder.
Midoriya, seeing her face, tried to wave his arms but cringed at the pain. "No! It's fine! I was blacked out for most of it anyway!"
"We didn't realize it. We knew that something was wrong, but didn't do anything about it." Iida said, reality hitting him hard. "We should have tried to pressure the questions, or- or alerted the teachers, or-" But Midoriya rested his hand on Iidas shoulder. He had genuine concern in his eyes.
"It's okay. You guys are here now. That all that matters."
"What-What exactly happened?" Uraraka asked.
Midoriya scrunched up his face like he was trying to remember.
"I just woke up and she was there. That girl, Toga. It didn't have any time to react, she already had a knife to me. I couldn't even call out. I remember her holding me there and talking for a long time, then she cut up my arms," he glanced down at the gashed on his forearms. "And then licking the blood up. She turned into me. She looked just like me. I-I didn't know what to do. I just panicked. I couldn't do anything." He got a bitter look on his face. "She kicked me around and beat me up, and I couldn't do anything. That's how she likes people. Beat up and smelling like blood. That's what she told me that night at the training camp." Uraraka was full on sobbing at that point, and he couldn't blame her. All of this had been happening less than 100 feet from them, and they were oblivious. "And the she left. I don't remember much after that. I remember her coming back after a few hours and taking more blood. She talked and hit me around some more, and then Kacchan came in..." He trailed off, and then seem to realize something. "Oh no! What happened to Kacchan? He set off some explosions and then they both left when he realized it was her. She had a knife! Where's Kacchan?" Iida could almost find it funny that the person Midoriya was the most worried about right then was Bakugo. But it wasn't a time to be laughing.
"He was dragged off because everyone thought he just attacked you for something you- I mean, the other you did earlier." Iida explained.
"We've gotta go help him! What if the League tries to kidnap him again?!" Midoriya said. He still looked like he wouldn't be able to stand, but it was nice to hear his friend real voice again, even if it was weak and raspy.
