Uncertain Unity Can/Sanem

"Anne...please." Can said as he stepped closer to Sanem.

Seeing this, Sanem stepped towards his Anne.

"Teyze...please forgive me, I didn't mean..."

"Selin, take her away... before I..." Teyze said, not looking at Sanem... but the hurt was evident in her voice.

Selin grabbed Sanems shoulders and led her away. She quickly looked up at Can, gesturing him not to say anything. Before leaving, she heard his Anne say.

"We're luckly Polen came and told me...."

They walked in silence to Selins house. As they entered, Sanem quitly walked towards the stairs...

"Sanem... could we talk... please." Selin called her.

"I'm sorry, Selin teyze...I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I'll go and pack and be out of here..." Sanem said again, walking towards the stairs.

"Stop..." Selin said, tapping the chair next to her at the table. "Come and sit...leave the packing for now."

Sanem dragged herself to the chair and sat down. She covered her face with her hands and started weeping.

"Shhushh...come on love calm down..." Selin told her, putting an arm around her shoulder.

"I didn't mean any of this to happen." She repeated again. "And I would never try to come betwee..."

"Ok... that's enough....you don't have to explain anything to me. Look, you've been with me the past few weeks. I think I'm a good judge of character, and I believe I'm not wrong where you're concerned." Selin told her.

"Selin teyze I am married... What teyze said is the truth." Sanem cried.

"Ok... So what...in this day and age. However, love, you should have told Omer. I mean, you were making a lifelong commitment to each other. Anyway, you said you're getting a divorce?" Selin asked.

"Hmm...yes, I did say that...I mean yes I am." Yes, the divorce was going to happen for sure. After teyzes reaction, there was no way...

"Sanem..." Selin teyze called her name, interrupting her thoughts.

"Teyze, there's nothing more to say... please forgive me. I'm going to pack. I'll be out of here by the hour." Sanem said, standing up to go.

"Sanem, stay the night. Please don't go it's already late. You can leave early in the morning." Selin put her hand on Sanems.

"No teyze, I think it's for the best that I leave tonight. I don't want to cause any more trouble. Teyze, thank you for everything."

"Sanem...I've loved having you here. Nothing changed for me...and don't worry about büyük teyze...what she said was harsh, but it's because she's hurt." Selin told her

"I know...I've hurt everyone...I'm so sorry." Sanem apologised.

"No....stop." Selin put her arm around Sanems shoulder to comfort her. "Come on, just rest tonight..."
