Uncertain Unity Can/Sanem

After leaving the station Sanem and Ayhan had gone to a café...Sanem needed a strong coffee. Normally a chai drinker, after what she had found out at the station she needed something stronger.

"What!!?...Sanem...what's wrong?" Ayhan asked.

"What?" Sanem asked full well knowing that Ayhan would ask why she had ordered the coffee. Ayhan knew her inside out and vice versa.

"Coffee!!!...is everything ok...you've been acting strange since we left the station...and this proves it." Ayhan told her.

"Ayhan...I found out something." Seeing Ayhans expression change, Sanem quickly continued "No...No Ayhan it's a good thing...nothing bad." Sanem finished.

"Thank God for that, I couldn't take it...for you." She said taking Sanem's hand. "But don't tell me...it's something you can't tell me." Ayhan told her.

"I'm sorry Ayhan..."

"No love...as long as it's good, that's all that matters."

They had their drinks and chattered for a while before Ayhan checked her watch...realising she had to go. Sanem hadn't told her of her decision. On her way to work Ayhan dropped Sanem off at her office. They had arranged to have lunch later...that's when she would break the news to her.

She had taken the lift to her office floor...receiving a warm welcome she quickly headed towards Derens office before being bombarded with questions.

She was just about to knock on Deren's office door, when she hesitated... 'Am I doing the right thing' she thought 'Pull yourself together!!!' she told herself, she was about to knock when the door opened.

On seeing Sanem, Deren's secretary Hazal squeled and took her in to a tight hug. "Welcome back" She said...while still hugging her. "It's so good to see you...how are you?" She asked...breaking from the hug.

"Thank you Hazal...I'm really good. How are you?" Sanem asked.

Deren had heard Hazal and came out to see what was wrong. Seeing Sanem...

"Ok Hazal...leave the girl alone, let her breath. Now you carry on with your work...you can catch up later." Deren grabbed Sanem by her hand...pulling her into the room...closing the door.

Once in the room, Deren embraced Sanem tightly.

"It's good to see you....I'm really glad to have you back. Now I'm not going to fire questions at you. I'll expect you'll get them all day...so how are you?" Deren asked.

Although the boss, Deren had taken her under her wings, when she had first started. They had more of a friendship then the normal employer employee relationship...Deren was more like an older sister...like Layla....and always looked out for her. Since she had been home, she had kept in touch with her every day. But respected Sanem's wish of giving her some time.

"I'm fine Deren thank you...I was wondering if you had time to talk?" Sanem asked, nervously.

"Sanem is everything...ok?" Deren asked hesitantly...frowning.

"Well...I've been doing some thinking." Sanem said...biting her lower lip.

"Oh...no." Deren sighed "I don't think I'm going to like this." Deren said.

"Deren, I would like to thank you for every...."

"Sanem what are you say...."

"Deren please...let me finish this is hard enough. Thank you for everything Deren....all the opportunities. I could never have made it this far."
