After another fifteen minutes they had arrived...stopping the car Can came round to open her door...thinking she might make an attempt to make a run for it...he didn't have the energy to run after or worry about her if she did. Taking hold of her arm he escorted her into his building.

"What IS your name by the way?"

"It can be whatever you want it to be." She clasped a hand over her mouth.... the moment the said words .... she knew it was the wrong thing to say.

"Now that doesn't sound right....in fact you sound like a ....."

"Don't you dare say it...I didn't mean it the way it came out. It's just better if we don't discuss personal things or get to know each other better." Suddenly remembering "I forgot to ask who were you running from."

"I wasn't running from anyone. I think your right it is better if we don't discuss things...but you know my name so that has you at an advantage."

That would be for the best...she did look like the nosy type, well is if she started asking questions. It would be for the best if they ended that conversation here. Sighing to himself...he didn't even know why he had bought her here. With everything going on at the moment, he should have thought things through before taking this step.

"What do you mean I gave my name to the registrar, the same as you did... it's not my fault that you were so out of it..."

"Well you weren't exactly in the right state of mind either...so would you like a drink...something to eat."

"No thanks...I'm fine ... I think I'll just call a cab." Reaching for her mobile... he came over to her and took the mobile off her and placed it on the table.

"It's late... why don't you stay here tonight... there is plenty of space. I'll drop you off in the morning."

"No its better if I head home..."

"Listen it's not safe for you to go on your own... it's late, I don't want to have that on my conscience, if anything were to happen to you. You have the bed I'll take the couch."

"You won't fit on that, it's too small." Sanem said, looking at the couch

"It's just one night, it'll pass...I'll get you something to change into." He went to his room.

"No... no I'm fine the way I am thanks."

Ignoring her he came back with a t shirt and a pair of shorts.... "This is the best I could find.... that may fit. You can change in the bedroom" pointing in the direction.

Reluctantly she went and changed. Looking around his room.... as with the rest of the place... she could see how organised he was, unlike herself.

Sometimes she would find it difficult to find a pair of matching socks...that was her living on her own. What if she at some point in life she was to live with someone... how would she cope. Shaking the thought away she went out of the bedroom.

"Looks good on you" he said "I've made you a salad I though you may not have had anything to eat."

"Damn right" she thought... he'd dragged her away, before her meal had arrived, but a salad that was not going to do anything for her...

"I don't mean to be a nuisance, but do you have anything else... something more filling... like..."

"Like?"

"Like a pizza or something."

"Oh I though girls these days watch what they eat...conscious of their weight and shape of their body and all that." Looking her up and down.
