Gently he touched her face, "Sanem it's going to be ok...love I'm here." Emre said gently, tears were falling without control. Trying to keep his voice normal he continued "Sanem I'm going to bring Layla ok...I'm going to be as quick as I can."

The next few hours were a blur... from going home...to explaining to Layla... to coming back to the hospital.

2 weeks later

Cans P.O.V

It had since been two weeks....he'd been up to his neck with work from the case; which he had just about wrapped up a few days ago. The work had to be completed...there was no way he could have left it. However this was after a lot of reassurance from his handler that she was ok. So now with everything out of the way, for now...he was on his way.

He was going against the rules...full well knowing, an agent was never suposed to make contact with a victim of a case they had been working on...but this was totally different. The fact was that he had never mentioned getting married or that he's wife had been the victim...could land him in big trouble. He also knew the outcome...if it ever come to light. But he didn't give a f**k. He wanted to see her for himself...for the past two weeks he'd been going crazy...just going on what others were saying.

Having been involved in the actual assignment...he couldn't access any information or get involved in the on going investigation. So he had to call in nearly all his favours to find out all he could...which wasn't really much.

After arriving at the hospital he made his way up to her room....he had been told she was in room 913. He was now here standing outside the room, he Dreaded it 'what the hell was he was going to face'. Not wanting to prolong it...he reached for the handle.

At that exact moment the door opened "Can I help you?" A young nurse was just comming out.

"Yes I was looking for San...."Can said.

"I'm sorry but you just missed her, she was discharged, actually you may have passed each other in the lifts." The nurse told him.

"What? Was she ok?" Can asked... anxiously.

"Don't look so worried she's doing fine, considering..." Realising she had said too much...the nurse cut herself short.

"An..d and the baby...." Can asked nervously.

The look on the nurse's face gave it away "I'm sorry I can't give you any more details, you'll have to talk to Miss Aydin about that. Like I've said it's only been a matter of minutes. However she has a recall appontm...."

He didn't wait for an answer; he was gone before she had a chance to finish her sentence.

After a lot of one sided discussions... they had arrived at Layla's house. Emre went to bring in Sanem's things...while the sisters went to the spare room.

This was the week Emres family got together for their anual family holiday. However...because of what had happened Emre had decided against going and cancelled.
