Raising his eyebrows Can answered.
"I'm the idiot...and you're right. I wasn't in the right state of mind. Thank goodness I realised in time."
Omer sat scratching his head, trying to make sense of what Can had said. Did He mean Sanem and him. That he and Sanem...
"Y..you a..and S..Sanem..." Omer stuttered.
"Yes... She's my wife, and I'm going to get her back." Can said, leaving him there open-mouthed.

"Oh God, I thought that was it." Layla said as she made herself comfortable in her bed.
"So did I." Emre came back into the room.
"Well, it's just your wishful thinking, Abla. When baby is ready, he'll come." Sanem told her, as she sat next to her. Emre and Layla both looked strangely at her. "That's what the midwife told me." Sanem said shrugging her shoulders.
They had just come back from the hospital. Layla had a c-section booked, however she had started having contractions for the past few days. Last night the contractions had become stronger and lasted longer. Again a false alarm had led to visit to the hospital... One of a few over the past few days.
"I'm not going in again. Not untill I'm sure." Layla told them.
"Why don't I get you a glass of warm milk." Sanem told her, moving off the bed.
"You stay put." Emre said making his way to the door. "I've got this, I'll get you one aswell." He told Sanem not waiting for her reply.
"He so good...I'm really lucky." Layla said watching him go.
"That you are, he's one in million. We're both lucky, you have a husband and I've got a brother." She told her, pausing for a moment before adding. "Just remember what you just said when your actually in labour." Sanem said jokingly.
"I don't know what your talking about." Layla said, pretending she had forgotten this morning when she had been having strong contractions. Emre had tried to be supportive, but Layla, well, she hadn't been very ladylike. Cursing under her breath.
"Ok, I believe you." Sanem said. "Abla joking apart...please take it easy. Emre Abi is going to tie you to the bed."
It had been almost a week since she had been back. Ayhan had called her, relaying Can's message. Every day, she had expected him to turn up. She had emailed the lawyer again, but still no reply. She was going to wait a few days, if there was still no response then she would look for another lawyer.
Emre came back a short time later. Carring two mugs of hot coco.
"I think you both deserve a treat." He told them, handing them their cups.
"Thank you, Abi." Sanem said as she took a sip.
"No problem, it's me that should be thanking you." He told her. "It's a busy time at work. It's a load off my mind knowing you're with her."
"I'm glad to be here." Sanem replied, standing up."Try and get some sleep. Goodnight." She said to Layla, kissing her forehead.
Emre came up and side hugged her. "Goodnight."
