"I don't want to speak to him." Sanem said loud enough for him to hear. Pushing the phone back into Ayhan's hand.

"She said..." Ayhan started relaying the message.

"Yes I heard her. Ayhan could you please tell her...." Can started but Ayhan cut him off.

"Tell her yourself." Ayhan told him. Handing the phone to Sanem... keeping her hand there."Talk to him...I'll leave you alone...please Sanem." She said before leaving her there with the phone in her hand. She could hear Can's voice calling her.

"Sanem...please we need to talk." She heard him through the phone.

Sighing she bought the phone to her ear. "Look...it's over why don't you just leave it, marry Polen..." She said.

"Never...I told you I love you." He said, she could hear the aggitation in his voice. "We will work it through together. Just give me a little time untill Anne get's better..." He finished.

Sanem gave a nervous laugh. "Are you even listening to yourself. Didn't you see your Anne's reaction. If she find's out the truth God know's what will happen. I don't want that on my head. It's better this way."

"No it's you that's not listening...Anne was just upset, she'll calm down. We will sort it out together..."

"I pretended to be engaged to your cousin." She reminded him.

Can closed his eyes not wanting to think about that...all the moments Omer had held her close.

"One thing...you better promise you won't say or do anything to Omer." Sanem said reading his thoughts.

"Don't you worry about him...Sanem I'm telling you, don't go...please." He pleaded.

"I can't stay after tonight...I'm sorry...please just move on." She told him before hanging up.

Can grunted in frustration standing up he kicked the ground.

"Can son is everything ok." His Baba asked. He hadn't realised his Baba had come up behind him.

"What...hmm...Yes......" He sighed, taking a deep breath. "No Baba I'm sorry." Sitting back down on the bench, cradling his face in his hands. "I don't know Baba...I don't know when life became so complicated."

"Welcome to the real life son." His Baba sat next to him patting his back. "All you've been doing is working since leaving the academy... so you know nothing else." His Baba told him.

"I know that Baba, work's not easy but at least I know what I'm doing." He told his Baba

"There are more aspects to Life then just work son. I mean you say you know what your doing but there must have been times where things didn't go as planned." Can raised his head...his Baba now looking him straight in the eyes. "Especialy in your line of work. Life is unpredictable at the best of times son..." Cans thoughts went to the night he had met Sanem. He looked away from his Babas gaze.

Standing up he rubbed his face taking a few steps he turned around. "Anne..."

"She's fine they gave her some medication in fact the nurse told me she probbly won't wake up till the morning. She even told me to go home. Look son I may be an old man but I'm here for you." His Baba said.
