Everybody wants to be/feel beautiful; you know it very well. Nowadays, society seem to have this one specific ideal of beauty and if you don't meet the requirements, you're automatically classified as 'unattractive' or even 'ugly'. Too many girls fall into violent depressions or have a low self-esteem/self-image because of this, and yet no one seem to realize how shallow the definition of beauty is. In the dictionary, beautiful can be an adjective (having ; possessing qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about, etc.; delighting the senses or mind), a noun (the concept of beauty (usually preceded by 'the')) or an interjection (wonderful; fantastic). Notice how all definitions are vague? That's because there is no one way of being beautiful, and this is why I want to show you some unlikely beauties that will reshape society's mentality.

This gorgeous Canadian woman has enjoyed a very successful career so far, making an appearances in multiple music videos (Sam Smith's 'Promises', JMSN's 'The One' and Eminem ft. Sia's 'Guts over Fear') and being a public speaker for people with her skin condition; vitiligo. She first stepped into the spotlight as a contestant in the television show America's Next Top Model in 2014 and has since then has been featured on a multitude of magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Ebony. Harlow is also the official brand representative for Desigual and has modeled during London Fashion Week. I especially like her for her outspokenness on low self-esteem, very inspirational :)

I first saw this unique model in a magazine at a local drug store and immediately became fascinated by her. This Tibetan beauty has been described as an 'intergalactic Avatar' or an 'exotic cat' due to her fascinating feline-like irises, plump lips, chiseled features and sprinkle of beauty marks all over her face. She as active on Instagram as on the runway and I hope to see much more of her in the near future.

I unfortunately couldn't find a GIF for this fashion pioneer, but Sophia Hadjipanteli remains one of my favorite and awe-inspiring models of today. She fully embraces her Greek heritage by shamelessly displaying her extraordinary uni-brow and has gained attention worldwide on social media for it, even starting her own movement called #FreetheBrow. I love how she she portrays beauty outside our conventional norms!
