Jungkook POV:
"Son, we're having our company's 50th anniversary in 3 weeks?"

I nodded in response when my father informed about an important event.

"I'm planning to throw a grand party to celebrate the special occasion. Sooner or later, I will retire and give my position to its rightful owner."

My lips curved into a smile when he mentioned about the rightful owner.

Leaning against the armchair, he continued, "By the way, your brother is returning back from Paris."

My smile faded away when he gave the bad news, "Dad, he left us to start his own business. What does he want now?"

"I understand you don't like him for leaving us when we needed him the most. I know you went through a lot when we were about to go bankrupt. But he is also my child. He has the right on my property."

I clenched my fists, biting the bottom lips.

I was the one who stood by my father's side when the company was going through the crisis.

When he was having a hard time, I helped him. Day and night, I worked hard just for the sake of the company.

My brother was never there for our family nor for our business.

Weakly smiling at him, I rose up from my seat, "Alright, Dad. As you wish."

"Thank you for understanding, son." He gave a sincere smile.

Just after I entered my cabin, my secretary followed after me.

Placing both the hands on my hips, I walked to and fro around the cabin, trying to calm down myself.

"Sir, you have an urgent meeting to attend."

I loosened my tie feeling suffocated, "Cancel it!"

I kept remembering what me and my father just discussed.

Is he going to give this company to hyung? Then what about me?

I was having a hard time to control my rising temper.

"But sir, it's really important-"

I turned to face him giving an intense glare.

"I said, cancel it! Are you deaf or dumb?" I shouted.

He bowed multiple times, apologizing, "S-Sorry, sir."

I rubbed my forehead releasing a sigh.

"Never mind. I will attend the meeting."
