*at Pops*
Betty and Jughead walk into Pops and spot Archie and Veronica sat next to each other in the normal booth. Betty sight with relief knowing she will get to sit next to Jughead. They both smile and take there seats.
Pop:Hello kids what would you like.
Archie:can I have a cookies and cream milkshake a burger and fries please.
Pop nods
Pop:and let me guess the same for the rest of you but Betty's with a strawberry shake Jughead with chocolate and Veronica with birthday cake.
They all laugh
Jughead:you know us so well.
Pop leaves to go to the kitchen.
Veronica:So guys I am throwing a party for my moms birthday could you come and bring your parents.
Betty looks at Jughead
Jughead grabs her hand under the table.
Archie:when is it.
Veronica:Tomorrow I know it's short notice.
Jughead spoke up to get Betty out of it.
Jughead:We can't we had a paper due yesterday for the blue and gold but we haven't even started it.
Jughead rubbed his thumb over Betty's hand. She smiled.
Veronica:Oh don't worry can you Archiekins.
Archie looked at Jughead with disgust.
Archie:of course Ronnie.
Pop gave them their burgers fries and shakes and Betty and Jughead unlinked their hands so they could eat.
Jughead watched as Betty just picked at her food.
Jughead:Hey Pop can we have these to take out he handed Pop his and Betty's plate even though he wanted to finish.
Veronica looked at him
Veronica:what are you doing Jughead.
Betty smiled at him knowing that he was going to take her home.
Jughead:Me and Betts need to leave I think I left the tap on.
Betty stood up as Pop handed Jughead the bag with the food in.
Jughead stood up behind her
J/B:Thanks for a good night guys.
Jughead:Sorry we can't make it to your moms birthday.
They all smile at each other as Jughead and Betty leave.
When there outside Jughead grabs Betty's hand.
Betty:Thank you Juggie for getting me out of the party with my parents and then finding us a way to leave I really appreciate it.
Jughead hugs Betty and kisses her on the lips.
Jughead:Anything for you.
She smiles and they walk home.
*in Jugheads trailer*
They are cuddled up in bed watching Netflix.
Betty:Jug what am I going to do about my dad.
Jughead:Well if you really want to do this whole quest thing then I guess invite him to Pops apologise then leave.
Betty:Juggie will you come?
Jughead:Of course I will I'm not letting you go alone.
Betty smiles.
Jughead:Do you want your burger.
Betty nods and Jughead gets the boxes of food.
H/C I don't know how many chapters to do and I might have a sequel depending on how it ends or I will just do a new story.
