Chapter 35

Quinn's POV

I put the final touches on my makeup finishing up getting ready for my day. For my outfit, I picked out a black long sleeve mesh and patchwork blouse with a long white cardigan sweater over it, and for my bottoms I am wearing a pair of plain old jeans. I sigh happily looking at my reflection putting away my makeup then I walk out of the bathroom and into the main part of the bedroom to see Anthony still sleeping. I roll my eyes walking over to him and shake him lightly, "Come on A, you need you get up it is almost noon." Anthony groans rolling over and pulling the covers over his head, "Leave me alone would you." I giggle as I pull the covers off him, 

"Either wake up or I will get Chris and Emery to come up here." Anthony gives me an evil look as he sits up in bed, "I am awake. You happy now?" He asks rubbing his eyes and stretching. "There is food downstairs, but I am sure that lunch is going to be any time now." I pat Anthony on his arm before giving him a kiss on his cheek. "What was the kiss for? Not that I am complaining." I smile at him as he runs his hand through his morning hair that is very messy. "The kiss is a thank you for being a total gentleman last night when you were taking such good care of me last night." Anthony smiles at me nodding his head, "What are friends for." I give him a quick hug before getting off the bed and head for the door,

"By the way, if I don't see you downstairs in twenty minutes I really am going to send Chris and Emery up here after you." I walk out of the room before he can say anything and right as I close the door I just happen to run into Nick."Morning Little Dove." Nick says as the thoughts of last night start flooding my mind. I push the thoughts away not wanting to think about it right now,"There is something that I have meaning to ask you for a while now." Nick gives me a curious look at the same time that he steps in front of me, "Ask away." I look up at him feeling that heat right away, "Why do you call me Little Dove?"Nick smiles placing one of his hands into the pocket of his jeans while his other he runs through his hair, 

"I gave you that nickname because when I look at you I see someone who is beautiful and innocent like a dove." Nick brushes a few lose strain of my hair out of my face, "No matter what happens between us, you will always be my little dove." Nick leans down as I lean forward and our lips meet in the middle. The kiss is soft yet passionate, but it doesn't last long as I come back to my senses and pull away from him, "We talked about this last night Nick, we can't go down this road because it will end with too many people getting hurt."Nick takes a step back and instead of talking to me I can tell that he pushes down what he is really feeling while walking away from me.

The feeling confused on what I am doing and how I am feeling, but I need to put that aside for now and focus on having fun at this party. head downstairs. I walk through the kitchen and into the living room to see everyone actually getting along and hanging out. "Who is picking next?" I ask since we already finished all eight movies of the Conjuring Series, Emery had picked 'The Ring'out of the jack o lantern, and Chaz had picked 'Beetle Juice' out of the jack o lantern. ""Why don't you pick next Quinn?" Reed says with a smirk on his face pushing the jack o lantern to me with his feet. I roll my eyes with a smile on face as I reach into the jack o lantern pulling out a piece of paper. "Nightmare on Elm Street Series." I say putting the paper down and sit down next to Emery who is still a little banged up from last night while Chris gets the movie setup.

Anthony finally joins us at the start of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 2', and it now night time as we finish up 'A Nightmare on Elm Street 4' "Horror movies made in the 80's was basically just having sex, a lot of screaming, and then getting killed." Tiffany says while Alexa stands up and takes the DVD out. "Before we start the next movie, I think it is time for the costume party, everyone expect Reed and Scott go get dressed and we will meet back here in an hour." Everyone agrees as we head off to get ready. 

It doesn't take my long to get ready as I am already finish my hair and fixing my purple dress that comes almost to my knees, and I tie my green scarf around my neck, "Prefect." I smile at myself before leaving the bedroom excited to see what everyone else came dressed up as. The first person I see is Nick who walks out of the first dining room dressed in black shirt that is covered by his pinstriped jacket with matching pants, he also has a red tie perfectly around his neck and a real red rose in the pocket of the jacket.

"Jumping back in time to the 20's I see." Nick looks at me with a smile on face as he takes in my costume, "You and the gang off to solve some mystery's there MS. Blake." I walk down the rest of the steps when Nick offers me his arm, "Humor me." He says and I take a deep breath as I take his arm and he leads me into the living room where we are all supposed to meet when we are ready to get back to the movie fest.
