Chapter 11

Carl's POV

I walked into the cafeteria and I didn't see Clementine. I'm guessing she was back in the cell or she's late for dinner. I'm not going to worry to much. I bet she's fine. I mean how much trouble can she get in to.

I guess I'll sit by my dad. I grabbed my food and walked over by my dad.

"Is this seat taken" I asked my dad

"Nope" he said

I sat down. My dad was sitting to my right and Duck to my left.

"Hi Duck"

"Hi Carl"

"Carl, why did you kiss Clementine" Duck asked me

"Well me and Clem like each other a lot"

"Like how my mom and dad like each other"

"Yes" I said

"Where is Clementine" my dad asked

"I don't know" I said

"OK I'm going to tell you now then"

"Tell me what" I said

"I don't think that you and Clementine should be together"

"Not this again"

"What if she died what would you do"

"I won't let that happen"

"If it did happen"

"Dad just leave me alone" I yelled and walked away.

I wish he wouldn't worry so much.

I walked to my cell and saw Clementine sleeping. I tried to be quiet so I don't wake her up. I took my hat off and laid next to her. She woke up and mumbled.

"Hey Carl" she said

"Hi angel" I kissed her forehead

"I'm tired"

"So go back to sleep"

"I can't"she said

"OK, I can't sleep either so let's stay up" I said

"Carl I heard you yell what happened"

"My dad he doesn't like that we're together"

"I wish people would just give us a chance" she said

"I know" I said. I placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Try and get some sleep Clem"

"OK I'll try" Clementine closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I cupped her cheek with one hand and the other I used to rub her other cheek. I love her so much. I thought to my self.

I took my hands off her cheeks and fell asleep.

The next morning

I woke up and Clementine wasn't in bed. She must have already gotten up. I got up and changed my clothes , put my hat on, and walked to the cafeteria. I grabbed my food, ate it then walked outside.

I don't have much work to do since the crops have been harvested. I have guard shift later, but that's all the work I got today. I saw Clementine playing with Duck and Mika.

"Hey Clem"

"Hi Carl" Clementine ran up to me and hugged me.

She pulled away "what are you playing"

"Tag, wanna play" Duck said

"Sure" I said
~30 minutes later~

It started to snow while we were playing tag.

"It's snowing" Mika said

"Yay" Duck stuck his tongue out.

"I've been waiting for the snow" Clementine said

I walked by her and put my hand in hers. Our fingers intertwined.

Clementine stared at the snow like she had never seen it. She looked cute

Someone's POV

Enjoy the snow while you can. I'll attack soon and I will take the little girl in the hat. I will kill Rick and capture Michonne and torture her. Like she did to me.
