The next morning

Clementine POV

I woke up I could see the sun shining through the sheet on the cell entrance. I look to my side and saw a sleeping Carl. I just stared at him and smiled. Then his eyes fluttered open.

"I thought I felt someone staring at me". Carl said

"Sorry" I said

"No need to be sorry" Carl said then kissed my cheek.

I kissed his lips he kissed me back

"Hey Clementine I was wandering if--"

"Ewww Clementine and Carl are kissing dad" Duck shouted as he ran out. I'm sure everyone heard him. And of course they did. Beth ran in and said

"you two got caught makin out"

My faced turned red I looked at Carl who's face was also red.

"So what's your point" Carl said

"How come you never kiss in front of us" beth said

"Because"

"Cuz why"

"Beth shutu-" I cut Carl off with a kiss on his lips

"Awww" beth said

"Are you happy beth" I said sassily

"Well I know I am" Carl said "kiss me again" he begged

We all laughed

"Ya kiss him again Clementine" beth suggested

"No" I said and got off the bunk

"Alright then I gonna go"beth said

"Carl I'm gonna change"I said

"OK" he said

"Turn around"

"Ugh alright" Carl turned around

I changed into a purple shirt with striped sleeves and put a pair of jeans on. I put my purple shoes on then my hat.

"Alright done"

He turned around and jumped off the bunk

"my turn to change, turn around"he said

I turned and faced the wall

"Alright done". I turned around

Carl had a black shirt and jeans on. He put his brown shoes on and then he put his hat on.

"Let's go" I said

"Not yet" he said

I turned around and was about to ask why but then Carl grabbed me and kissed my lips

"Alright now I'm ready.

We walked to the cafeteria shoulder to shoulder. We walked in and grabbed an apple then we went looking for Rick.

He was outside gardening

"Rick what do we have to do today?" I asked

"Carl you got the watch tower with Glenn, and Clementine you have to go on a run with Daryl".

"When do we leave"

"You got about 20 minutes" Rick said

"OK"

Me and Carl walked to the guard tower

"Hey Clem be careful"he said

"I know" I said

"I just don't want to lose you"

"Carl I'll be fine"

"I hope so"

"I gotta go to the watch tower" Carl said

"Alright bye love you Carl"

"Bye love you Clem" he kissed my cheek then walked away.

Alright I got like 10 minutes before I leave with Daryl so I'll go play with Sam

"SAM"I yelled

Sam came running to me

"Hey sam do you want to play fetch"

Sam barked

"I'm taking that as a yes" I grabbed a stick and threw it Sam ran after it, grabbed it, and brung it back.

"Hey kid you ready" Daryl said

"Ya can Sam come" I asked

"Sure"

We walked to a car and got in Carl and Glenn opened the gate.

I waved to Carl and then we drove away .

"So kid I heard what happened earlier" Daryl said

"Lemme guess beth told you"

"Yup"

"Alright we're here" Daryl said as we pulled up to a small store

"You know how to shoot right?" Daryl asked

"Ya I know how to use a knife too" I said

"Only shoot if it you have to"

"Ok let's go" I said

We ran to the doors and opened them we saw a walker

"I got it " I whispered

I snuck up behind the walker and stabbed it head it fell to the ground dead.

"Nice kill kid"

"Thanks Daryl"

We grabbed some food,formula,clothes, and a few blankets.

"Daryl go put these in the car I'll be out there in a minute" I commanded

Daryl nodded

I looked for a toy for Sam and then I found a chew toy

"Sam" I called

He came in and barked

"Do you like this" I squeaked the toy

Sam growled and bolted toward me I thought he was going to attack me but he attacked a walker that was behind me. The walker pinned Sam I panicked and stabbed the walker in the head.

Sam was a bloody mess I checked him and made sure he didn't have any bites. He was fine.

My right arm was hurting really bad. I looked down and I could see my bloody sleeve. I pulled up my sleeve and I saw a bite mark. I started to cry Daryl came running in

"What's with all th-"

"Your bitten" Daryl said
