"Okay we'll be back with your food in a few" he says. "Thank you" i tell him. Once he leaves I got my phone out and faced the camera to her.

"Cheeeeeese" She says and smiles widely. "You're so adorable" I said. "I know" she sasses. "You know?" "Uhuh mommy told me"

"Oh she did?"

"Yup. Mommy said I have to know I'm cute and beautiful"

Typical Jennifer. But she's right for it. Our daughter needs to know her worth. I did birth a gorgeous girl.

"Well she's right"

"And mommy said the same about you that's why she loves you because she loves me too"

I smiled. "Mm..we both love you"

"Mommy said that too!"

"Of course she did" I giggle.

I sent the picture to Jennifer but also posted it. 'Breakfast date 😍' was my caption.

She continued coloring on the menu and I continued scrolling through my phone. But that didn't last too long. After I put my phone down, she passed the menu to me and pointed at a drawing.

"Me, you, and mommy!" She says. Immediately my heart melted. "I love it!! Give this to her when we pick her up from work later"

"Okay!"

"You've improved in drawing so much since you first started school" I said. I mean thanks to me because I was the one who pretty much taught her in school.

After breakfast, we went back to my place to pick up Biscuit. Then we went for a walk by the beach. She was holding my hand but also holding the leash. Biscuit is pretty well trained so I trust that she won't run off and drag Veronica's little self. I didn't really have errands to run today so I decided it was right for us to have a productive but relaxing day and not stay home all day.

Later on during Jens lunch, she called to FaceTime us as we were just sitting in the car in the parking lot.

"What'd you eat for breakfast mama?" She asks Veronica. She climbs and sits on the compartment in the middle. "Waffles and strawberries" she says. "Really? Yummy!"

"Yeah and I finished all the strawberries. It was cut in half so I ate it like chips hehe"

"Silly..well what did Leah have?"

"Pancakes and-"

"She had pancakes and bacon and egg and coffee" Veronica interrupts. I look at Veronica and Veronica looks back at me and laughs cutely in my face.

"Haha. She beat you to it" jen says. "She did" I shake my head then pinched Ver's cheek. She copies me and did the same back to me but with both her little hands on both sides of my face. "Hey!" I laugh out and did it back to her. "You're just like your mom. If I do one thing she'll do it back but double it" I said. Making sure Jen heard. The phone was just sitting in front so she can clearly see what's happening.

"Excuse me?" Jen says. I laughed and laid back. But Veronica was still trying to play around with my hair this time. I just let her while I kept my eyes on her.

"Babe, I just remembered that I have to go to my moms tomorrow after work but the car won't be done"

"I'll take you" I said. "You sure?"

"Mhm"

"Thank you" She says.

"Why do you have to go anyways?"
