Soulmates (Weiss x Ruby)

Chapter 3 - weiss' birthday

Weiss ~POV~

        I woke up and went to the bathroom everyone seemed to be asleep especially yang and Blake I think they were cuddling or somewhat of that and ruby was stirring on her bed

I got in the shower with steaming water I made sure I locked the door this time so Ruby wouldn't walk in not that I didn't want her to I finally put on my everyday clothes even though it was my birthday

I mean it was nothing special just turned 18 is all I walked out to see my whole team up I saw ruby playing games on her scroll and Blake on hers but yang was still asleep

"Goodmorning weiss! Do you know what today is?"

Ruby seemed happy and excited

"I mean yeah it's my 18th birthday, nothing special"

"What! It's definitely special birthdays are the best. You get gifts from friends and family, for free!"

"Ruby it's nothing special I never really celebrated anyway..."

ruby and Blake looked at each other then back at me

"We might be able to change that."

I looked up at ruby while fixing my bed so it looked neat

"And how is that?"

I don't know what ruby had in mind but it better be good and not a waste of my time

"Well I'll take you to breakfast, and walk around vale for awhile. it'll be fun we should be back around 2pm."

I thought about it I don't have anything special to do and I would like to hangout with Ruby to get closer like pyrrha said I should if I want her to like me the way I like her

"I guess, when do we leave?"

Ruby hopped down from her bed and said

"We shall leave now ice queen, I'm at your service."

She winked at me and I blushed I was hoping she didn't see it but she did

"You okay weiss are you sick? If you are I can make you your favorite tea."

I giggled "I'm fine ruby, let's go already." And we were on our way to vale

Ruby ~POV~

       While we were in the room Blake texted me and said distract weiss like she makes sure everything is prepared and now we're in vale

"So where do you wanna go first weiss? Keep in mind we have hours to go anywhere we want."

She wasn't even listening it seemed like she saw an angel

"Weiss are you okay?" I waved my hand in front of her face

She finally snapped out of it

"My fault Ruby I just saw a dress in a window and it was really pretty."

Ruby then had an idea

"Let's go look at it then. It's so pretty why not go see it up close."

"But I don't even have the type of money to buy that type of stuff anymore"

I had just got paid from my job which I didn't get paid a lot from but it was enough to buy that dress

"Don't worry about that now let's go look at it" Ruby finally convinced weiss to go into the store

And when weiss wasn't looking I bought the dress for her and I told her we could leave it seemed like Weiss noticed the bag but didn't say anything

Weiss was really close to Ruby this made Ruby blushed she didn't know why but it felt good maybe it was something that happened between partners on a daily basis

3 hours later.....

"Well I think it's time for up to head back weiss you ready?"

They has been all over town within 3 hours and they hadn't eaten at all

"Yeah we should head back I'm hungry I hope we still have leftovers."

Ruby giggled since she already knew about the party "Oh I'm pretty sure it's leftovers."

Blake ~POV~

"It looks like everything is in place we should be good, and ruby said they're on their way"

almost everyone from the school was at the party it wasn't like one of those over the top parties

It was a simple get together for weiss' birthday

"Yang ask ruby how far they are."

"She said they'll be there in like 3 minutes! EVERYONE GET READY!"

Everyone ran to places to hide and yang went to go turn off the lights

Then she came next to me "Ruby just texted me saying they'll be here in literally 2 seconds"

that's when we heard the door open "SURPRISE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEISS!" Everyone said it in unison

This was a weird chapter I believe because I was rushing but I promise the next couple of chapters will be good! :)
