Chapter 21 - The finale

(this takes place while Ruby is with Pyrrha and Nora)

Ive been thinking about the plan to confess to Ruby

But for some reason it seemed to exaggerated

I felt as though I should keep it simple and genuine

Maybe even add a bit of flowers and cookies in the mix

Or was that minimalistic?

I was currently walking back and forth in the dorm

Stressing to find the right solution

Soon i heard the doorknob click

I looked up only to meet eyes with Yang

"What's up with you Ice Queen?"

"Don't call me that."

"Just answer the question."

'Could I tell Yang? She might bash my head into a wall if she finds out i'm trying to date her sister!'

"Just a bit stressed out is all, nothing too big."

She stared at me as if she knew more than she was letting on

"Weiss,"

I looked at her for her to continue

"I know you like Ruby."

'Since when did she know!? Did Blake tell her!? I told her not to tell anyone!'

"Don't worry Blake didn't tell me anything."

"Then how did you know Blake knew?"

"Let's just say i've seen you and Ruby kiss before."

'What!? Which kiss did she see!? If it was when she ran away i'm done for!'

"So you were spying on us?"

"Well not necessarily."

"When did it happen?"

"I think it was like 12 in the morning don't really remember, but you kissed Ruby on the forehead like i'd do blake. So I guessed you guys were dating or liked each other."

"You were up that night!?"

"Well yeah, but not really I was half-sleep."

All of a sudden Blake walked into the room

"Hey guys."

"Hi Blake."

"Come here Blakey, we're gonna cuddle all day."

'I wonder if me and Ruby are ever gonna be able to do stuff like that.'

"Hey Weiss?"

I looked up at Yang

"Right now you and Ruby aren't on the best terms, but if you really want to get through to her just talk to her."

Blake stared at Yang surprisingly then me

"You told her?"

"No I didn't, she just happened to find out on her own."

After a few minutes of silence Blake spoke up

"Weiss?"

"Hm?"

"I agree with Yang, maybe keeping it simple might be the best way to go. Especially with someone like Ruby. Ruby is the type of person to want confirmation earlier rather than later, so just tell her."
