She asked, confused looking at him lighting the ash filled container.

Pandit: Yeh dhoop ka dhua hai and it's a very important part of your riyaaz. Agar tum iss dhue ke saath bhi apne sur laga paogi toh it will mean that you are almost ready for the concert

Nandini didn't defy and just kept mum as she resumed tuning her veena. After a while she realised that she couldn't breathe properly as she started coughing badly.

Nandini: I-I can't sing Panditji...the smoke is too much

She complained but got scolded by the Pandit in return.

Pandit: Mujhe laga ki tum guruma ki poti ho toh tum strong hogi but no I was wrong, tumhe toh bas riyaaz na karne ke bahane chahiye Nandini. Agar main iss dhue me sur laga sakta hu then why can't you?

He asked exasperated as he sang a line for her showing he could sing conveniently hence Nandini attempted to sing but she again started coughing. Gradually her breathing turned heavy and she fainted in Pandit's arms.

On the other side, Manik was on his way to college. He had decided to reach college by 5 am itself but owing to his habit of walking up late, he woke up late and was now trying his best to reach college as soon as possible. He already didn't trust the Pandit and now he was getting some negatives vibes since the time he had woken up which were getting on his nerves now. Sighing loudly, he pressed the accelerator and sped up his car as he zoomed towards college.

Meanwhile Maddy wasn't able to sleep. His mind kept wandering to Sanjana who met him the other day and he couldn't help but think about her and her words.

Flashback

Sanjana: Maddy I need to talk to you...please

Maddy: Look miss I have already made myself clear ki mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni then why the hell are you being so persistent about it

Sanjana: Because its important Maddy. Ek mahina beet chuka aur uss waqt me Maine tumhe bohot space diya. Main humesha shaant si rehti thi aur I always made sure to not dash into you kyuki I knew you would feel hurt or maybe disturbed lekin ab aur nahi hota mujhse...I-I can't bare this distance between us anymore

Her words somehow angered Maddy.

Maddy: Really? Weren't you the one who pushed me away Ms. Sanjana Shekhawat? Weren't you the one who betrayed me by stealing my composition? Weren't you the one who rejected my love for you?

He asked accusingly. Sanjana kept quiet, not able to meet his eyes for she knew she was wrong but she also knew that she had to talk to him.

Sanjana: I know I was wrong Maddy lekin please ek baar meri baat sunlo. Give me a chance to explain at least once please....for old times sake?

She requested but he kept quiet making her sigh.

Sanjana: Fine...take your time but if at all you think that its worth giving me a chance then meet me near my hotel's garden at 6am and I know it's not early for you kyuki that's your jogging time and also we'll be able to talk properly at that time without any interferences

She completed and left leaving Maddy with his thoughts.

End of flashback

Maddy snapped out of this thoughts as his alarm rang. It was 5:15, his time to wake up and get dressed for his routine jog. He let out a tired sigh and went to freshen up. Thirty minutes later, Maddy found himself walking obliviously on the road and stopped in front of the Sanjana's hostel that was located just next to Space. He kept looking at the building for sometime with too many thoughts in his head when he found Sanjana running in his direction all panicked and dishevelled making him frown.

Why is she running like that so early in the morning?
