Maahir had taken his lips too close to Bela that a move of one quarter of a cm, would turn into a lip lock but at that moment, the door suddenly opened and Bela returned to her senses and pushed Maahir away as through that door, Reyhaan entered Bela's room and was shocked seeing Bela and Maahir together but still made a straight and polite face and said, "Vo Bela sab bula rahe hai puja ke liye." Bela became conscious and nodded her head. Reyhaan left from there after giving a look to Maahir and after that Bela fixed her pallu and then left from there too leaving Maahir alone.

In the puja, when Bela and Maahir arrived together, Madhu was the most elated person and at first she took their evil eyes and then said, "Hayee bilkul Ram-Sita jaisi Jodi hai mere bachcho ki." Bulbul came to both of them and said to Bela, "Mamma aap bohooooooot beautiful lag rahi ho." Bela patted Bulbul's cheeks and then held her hand to the puja. Everyone gathered around for the puja and the priest asked everyone to do the aarti as couple. At the last moment, when the priest was about to start the other rituals, Madhu interrupted him and said, "Panditji vo meri beti aur jamai reh gaye hai, aap unse bhi puja karwa lijiye." Both Maahir and Bela looked at each other as they both didn't want to do it and she whispered to Madhu, "Mamma main ye sab kuch bhi nehi karna chahti hu." Madhu too whispered back and replied, "Puttar puja hai na, yaha par scene mat create karna. Jaisa keh rahi hu chupchap vaisa karo." Saying she pushed both Maahir and Bela forward and did the aarti as Madhu had asked them to do it. After that the priest started other rituals where all the couples took part and during the last ritual when Maahir-Bela were about to take part in it, Maahir said, "But ye waali vidhi hum ek dusre ke liye nehi, apni beti Bulbul ke liye karenge kyuki hamaari zindagi mein ab sabse zyaada important wahi hai, hamaari zindagi ki dor usse bandhi hui hai." This was the one thing on which Bela agreed to Maahir for the first time after such a long time and then both called Bulbul to sit in between them. The priest asked, "Jiske naam pe sankalp lenge uska naam bataiye?" Maahir replied, "Bulbul Maahir Sehgal!" The priest asked, "Ab mata pita ka naam bataiye?" Maahire replied, "Pita ka naam Maahir Sehgal aur ma ka naam Bela Maahir Sehgal!" Bela looked at Maahir when he addressed her as 'Bela Maahir Sehgal' and then immediately she corrected the priest, "Panditji ma ka naam Bela Ranjit Sareen hai!" Maahir looked Bela and he understood that she had protested against Maahir for changing her name and then she looked at her father who gave her an assuring smile. After the completion of the puja, Bela went to search for Bulbul and found that she was happily sitting on her father's lap, swinging her legs and having her favourate laddoos and also she gave Maahir one. Bela went to her and asked Bulbul, "Bulbul subhe se kitne laddoo kha chuki ho?" Bulbul counted and shamelessly replied, "15!" Bela nodded her head in disappointment and replied, "Itne laddoo khaaogi to moti ho jaaogi baby phir ek bhi kapre fit nehi aayenge." Bulbul replied, "Koi baat nehi mamma mujhe supermodel nehi banna hai aur daddy hai na mere liye 3XL kapre lekar aayenge. Hai na daddy?" Maahir nodded his head in acceptance and seeing that Bela asked, "Tum bethe bethe dekh rahe ho? Abhi kyu kuch nehi keh rahe ho?" Maahir looked at Bulbul and replied, "Main kuch kaise keh sakta hu aur meri baat kaunsi ye sunne waali hai? Baro ki baate sunni chahiye ye training hi to isey mili nehi hai aur khaane ko lekar main apni bachchi ko kabhi kuch nehi kahunga. Mera beta jo chahega khaayega, jitna chahega khaayega aur agar kisine usko roka to daddy uski pitaayi kar denge. Hai na baby?" Bulbul nodded her head happily and Maahir looked at Bela and replied, "Kaunsa vo ek saath itne saare laddoo kha rahi hai, jabse bane hai tabse lekar abhi tak usne 15 laddoo khaaye hai. Hamesha jab dekho tab peeche pari rehti ho iske." Bulbul showed another laddoo to Bela and said, "Main aapke liye bhi ek laayi hu mamma, kha lo bohot tasty hai, naani ne banaya hai." She took the laddoo from Bulbul's hand and said, "Chalo Bulbul ne diya hai to mamma ek kha hi legi. Lekin abhi thori der baad khaane ke liye bulaaya jaayega aur mamma ko ye promise chahiye ke Bulbul chupchap apna khaana khaayegi aur kisise behes nehi karegi." Bulbul looked at Bela and said, "Mamma main kabhi pehle kuch bhi nehi bolti hu par agar koi mujhe poke karega to main silent mode mein bilkul nehi rahungi." Bela agreed as she had no other option than that and then looked at Maahir and said, "Main maanti hu ke maine Bulbul ko zyaada time nehi diya aur vo bohot spoil ho chuki hai lekin tum to us aag mein aur bhi zyaada ghee daalkar usey aur baraa rahe ho." Maahir kissed Bulbul's cheeks and said, "Beti meri ek lauti hai, main uske saath zyaada time raha nehi hu to thora sa spoil karna to mera banta hai kyuki mera kaam tumne kiya hai. It is the birthright of a father to spoil his daughter, jo tumne mujhse cheena hai so ab main kasar saari puri kar raha hu." Bela shook her shoulder since she was not interested in the bantering with Maahir and so she left from there and Maahir hugged Bulbul from the side and said, "Mera chota sa bachcha, mera pyaara sa bachcha chalo chalkar lunch karte hai, bohot achchi dishes bani hai maine check kiya hai aur puri bhi bani hai." Bulbul said, "Daddy main 6 puriya khaaungi aur kisine agar mujhe roka to main usko khaane nehi dungi." Maahir replied, "Tum 10 kha lena lekin abhi chalo varna gorilla mamma King Kong mamma ban jaayengi." Bulbul agreed and she left from there with Maahir.
