AUTHOR POV

Jungkook lay on his bed, the room cloaked in darkness, but his mind illuminated by a whirlwind of thoughts. The interrupted kiss with Y/N replayed over and over again in his head, intensifying his irritation. He couldn't shake off the frustration that had settled deep within him.

Every time he closed his eyes, he could vividly recall the moment when their lips were mere inches apart, the anticipation building, only to be abruptly disrupted. The memory taunted him, reminding him of what could have been, of the connection that had been so close, yet torn away.

Restlessness consumed him as he tossed and turned, unable to find solace in sleep. The frustration gnawed at him, fueling a growing sense of discontent. Why did it have to be interrupted? Why couldn't they have just had that one moment, that one kiss that he had been yearning for?

His mind raced with questions, doubts, and a longing that seemed to intensify with each passing moment. He couldn't understand why fate had played this cruel trick on him, teasing him with a taste of what could have been, only to cruelly snatch it away.

As the night wore on, Jungkook found himself lost in a sea of conflicting emotions. He felt a mix of anger, disappointment, and longing. The interrupted kiss had stirred something deep within him, awakening desires and emotions that he had tried to suppress.

Unable to find peace, Jungkook rose from his bed and paced around his room, his thoughts still consumed by the missed opportunity. He wondered if Y/N felt the same frustration if she too yearned for that stolen moment. The uncertainty only added to his restlessness, his mind refusing to quiet down.

In the stillness of the night, Jungkook silently vowed to find a way to address the interrupted kiss. He couldn't let it go unresolved, couldn't let it fade into a distant memory without seeking some form of closure. Determination burned within him, pushing him to find a way to navigate the complexities of his emotions and the unspoken tension between him and Y/N.

With a deep sigh, Jungkook finally settled back into bed, his mind still racing, but now with a glimmer of hope. He knew that he couldn't let this frustration consume him indefinitely. He would find a way to confront the situation, to communicate his feelings, and to seek the answers he so desperately craved.

As he closed his eyes once more, he whispered into the darkness, "I won't let this go. I won't let it fade away." With that resolve firmly planted in his heart, he slowly got up from his bed, the determination fueling his every step.

The thirst that had awakened him still lingered, urging him to quench it. He made his way towards the kitchen, hoping to find some water to soothe his parched throat.

As he entered the kitchen, his eyes met Y/N's, who seemed to be in the same predicament. Stumbling upon each other in the dimly lit room, their gazes locked, and the air crackled with an unexpected tension.

It was as if the universe had conspired to bring them together, presenting an opportunity to address the unresolved tension between them.

Jungkook's heart raced as he took in Y/N's presence, her features softened by the gentle glow of the moonlight filtering through the window. He could see a mix of surprise and curiosity in her eyes, mirroring his own emotions.

Breaking the silence, Jungkook cleared his throat and spoke softly, "I... I couldn't sleep and I'am thirsty. Didn't have any water in my room." His voice was filled with a hint of vulnerability, a subtle invitation for Y/N to share her own reason for being there.

Y/N's lips curled into a small smile, a mix of understanding and relief washing over her. "I couldn't sleep either. Came here for a glass of water," she replied, her voice carrying a similar vulnerability.
