"Where is this pla—" I stopped, looking down at the bright blue ribbon of water falling down from the cliff.

In front of us was a cliff, a waterfall hanging over the edge on the other side. The water landed in a pool of the bluest water I had ever seen, mirroring sapphires. It was at the bottom of this giant cave-like hole. It was like a tiny beach at the bottom of a bottle. The blue contrasted against the deep brown cliffs and the near neon green grass below us.

"How did I not hear this?" I asked, wondering why I didn't pick up the sound of the waterfall.

"You were too busy complaining," Sebastián turned and smirked at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, fair enough."

It was beautiful and I found myself leaning over the edge to look down. "How did you find this place?" I asked him.

When I looked up, Sebastián wasn't looking at the beautiful view in front of us, but at me instead. I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked away, watching the blue pool below us instead.

I felt him wrap his arms around my waist, his chin on my shoulder. "A good friend of mine. He's here on account of training," He explained. "He showed up to my house after going on a jog saying he tripped down a hill and landed in the water down there."

I knew that hill was dangerous. "So how do we get down?"

"Like this." Sebastián let go of my waist and then threw me down, laughing as I screamed.

The blue rushed up at me and I angled my body at the last second to do a type of dive. Cold water flushed over my skin, cooling my hot body.

I swam up, groaning when I saw that Sebastián wasn't up there. "Seb!" I yelled. "That wasn't funny!" My voice echoed up and out of the cave-like hole. I smiled as the water reflected against the cliff side walls.

Someone yelled as they jumped off the cliff, splashing next to me. I laughed as Seb came up, his tan body glistening with water. His dark hair fell messily in front of his face.

He shook his hair out, the strands sprawling out in too many directions. I laughed as I swam to him, running my hands through the spikes.

He smiled at me as one hand came up to my cheek. "You really are beautiful." His thumb grazed over my eye and I winced. I nearly forgot about my little battle wounds.

Although, surely now they were disappearing. I had gotten a good night's rest since my little fight with Pierce.

"Who tried to get into a fight with you?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Pierce," I answered. "And I tried to fight him."

Sebastián growled, his eyes going dark. "He's— he's really something, isn't he? He's lucky he's not here, I'd gut him like the fish he i—"

"Hey," I snapped, a little anger rising in my chest. "I started it, he finished it. He's gunna be Beta once he finds his mate."

My pack was probably in shambles and here I was, laughing in a pool of water with my mate. I shook my head and then wiped my face with my hands.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to snap," I apologized.

He nodded. "No, you're in the complete right. I just... he should've let you win. Or stuck to defense the entire time. I can't imagine anyone wanting anything bad to happen to you."

I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck. It was kind of hard to swim but that only boosted our fun.

I leaned down to kiss his lips but at the last moment I turned and kissed his cheek, swimming away quickly. My pack was fine. All of them would want me to be happy. And I deserved some relaxation. I did help save them after all.
