"Hey, Ink... what's that white powder all over the ground in that AU?" Cross asked. "I don't think it's dust... is it?"
"We call it snow, Cross. It happens when rain gets really cold, high in the sky, and it freezes into little crystals... or something like that, it's complicated," replied the Creator, smiling at the other.
"What can do you do with it? What's it for?"
"Well, it's fun to play in- actually, you know what? Come with me," said Ink, holding out a hand to his friend. "Let's go see some snow, Cross."

"It's so COLD! And wet, too!" Cross yelped.
Ink laughed. "Of course it's wet! It's frozen water!"

"I wasn't expecting it to be like this," Cross exclaimed, making a snowball to throw at the other. "It's fun!"
"Yeah, snow is the best," Ink agreed, smiling as his eyelights changed to a happy yellow star and icy blue snowflake.
