Third Person's Point of View:
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY CAR BAILEY!" Ethan ordered as he abruptly stopped his GTI on the side of the foreign street. He didn't care anymore. He just wanted her ... gone. The absence of light in Ethan's eyes sent chills down Bailey's spine. "You are one dumb bitch. I can't believe you let that thing grow in you."
Heartbroken Bailey was holding her almost unnoticeable bump as a heat wave pumped to her face unleashing a cascade of tears. The lump in her throat was getting so big and heavy, it was beginning to suffocate her.
"Must I throw you out? GET. THE. FUCK. OUT. NOW." Her husband roared again. Bailey was paralysed.
Her petite 5'2 body started to tremble. She was struggling to balance breathing and crying. The growing lump made it painful for her to even inhale short breaths of stuffy air. She took a quick glance out of the foggy window - dusk was falling and the impatient sun had almost drifted off to sleep. Bailey sighed and cautiously opened the door. The frosty autumn breeze roughly brushed her long hair and sent needles down her short spine. As soon as Bailey closed the door, Ethan slammed his foot down and screeched down the unfamiliar road. Where was she? Why is silence so loud here? The aura in the neighbourhood was rather gloomy and unwelcoming. Maybe Bailey should call an Uber. But where would her companionless soul go? ...
"SHIT. Why the fuck must you be fucking dead at this time? How must I get out of here?!" Bailey exclaimed as she was looking at her hopeless iPhone.
After a moment of gathering herself together, Bailey decided to walk in the direction Ethan speeded off in. She removed the diamond off her finger and catapulted it as far she could. Savage. Suddenly, she heard the sound of swift paws getting closer to her. Her blurry night vision managed to see a four-legged animal far in front of her. A dog. Wait. Perhaps a Rottweiler? It was rapidly growing in size as it was getting closer and closer to her. Bailey's heart pounded. This was it. Her precious baby and her helpless self was going to be attacked ... and possibly become a two-course meal. Her instinct told her to stand idle until an unexpected loud whistle demanded the dog to turn back. A group of rather intimidating men gradually approached Bailey. One guy in front and three behind. Bailey thought to herself, "What the eff were they wearing? Wife-beaters in this unforgiving weather? Were those guns? Nun-chucks? Am I fucking dreaming?"...
"What is a pretty face like you doing outchea?" ... "deez streets ain't for a girl like you!" said one of the guys at the back. He looked like a wannabe of the guy leading them.
"Are you looking for someone to fuck missy?" another guy added.
"Cut your shit boys. There's plenty of girls waiting to be dicked back at the headquarters. I apologise, miss. Are you lost? What is a girl like you doing in this neighbourhood?" asked the guy who seems to be their "leader".
"Uhm .. where am I? Where can I catch a bus?" Bailey desperately asked.
"Miss, you won't catch a bus anywhere near this neighbourhood. You are probably new to this city. Everyone is aware that this is a neighbourhood owned by my great grandfathers well-established gang. No one dares stepping foot in our streets." The "leader" responded with great certainty in his voice. He saw Bailey's puzzled, teary eyes.
"Look, my father is expecting me for dinner now. Why don't you come join us and I will escort you home afterwards?"
Bailey knew that her choices were limited to joining them for dinner or perhaps, joining her dead parents in hell considering if she declines, she'll face some drastic consequences. She then mumbled a scared "Okay, thank you, I guess."
