Nandini's Surprise

Nandini: You look hot

She complimented quickly, not meeting his gaze while Manik seemed stumped.

Of course, it wasn't everyday that Nandini Murthy called him hot.

Manik: I do?

He raised his brow as he walked towards her and grabbed her waist, jerking her close to him.

Manik: You look hot too or rather sexy

He complimented back huskily and winked at her making her cheeks go red. He then bent a little lower towards her ear and gave her a sloppy kiss right next to it making her close her eyes in ecstasy.

Manik: You are so beautiful Nandini.

He whispered down her ear and blowed some air there while she shivered at the proximity.

Nandini: Le-lets go?

She stammered as she pushed him a little and walked to her car making him chuckle.

Manik: Sure

He called out, following her behind.

Manik: So where to Ms. Murthy?

He asked once they hit the driveway.

Nandini: Patience dear. Here have these wafers and listen to some good music, we'll at least take an hour to reach there

She said handing him a packet of wafers and resumed her focus on the road as she drove.

Manik: I don't feel like eating

Nandini: Seriously Manik? (Looks at him in disbelief) I know you didn't have your lunch properly and I am sure you didn't eat anything after getting back from college so munch on these wafers like an obedient kid till we reach there

She ordered. Manik kept mum after that and began eating, feeding some to Nandini too as they chatted through the way.

One hour later

Manik: Are we there yet?

Nandini: Yup

She replied whilst halting the car. Manik being the excited soul was all set to get out of the car but Nandini stopped him.

Nandini: Wait!

Manik: Kya hua?

Nandini: Surprise mera hai na so I'll guide you

Manik*sighs*: okay

As soon as they get out of the car, Nandini asks him to close his eyes and then guided him to her surprise.

Nandini: Okay now walk straight...oho Manik I said straight

Manik: Ha toh seedha hi toh chal raha hu main...ek toh it's already dark and upar se you have put this blindfold on...matlab you know right, it doesn't make any sense

Nandini: I want you to recognise this place by yourself. I didn't want you to see it isliye this blindfold. Ab zyaada bakwaas mat karo and follow what I say

Manik's mouth opened in a perfect 'O' at her accusation.

Manik: Haww! Main bakwaas kar raha hu? Main? Nandini how could you say that? You hurt me

He said dramatically with the necessary sighs and ohs in between making Nandini roll her eyes.

Nandini: And you call me a drama queen. Kabhi khudko dekha hai?

Manik: Oye main koi drama nahi karta okay? Ab agar meri girlfriend hi aisi hai toh thoda asar toh hoga hi na so it's not my fault

He shrugged nonchalantly.

Nandini: Aisi matlab?

She raised her brow suspiciously listening to him.

Manik: Are...uh...Nandu hum yaha mera surprise dekhne aaye hai na toh lets go please. I can't wait anymore now

He stammered, trying to change the topic.

Nandini: Aaj mera mood acha hai so I am sparing you varna you know me

Manik: Ofcourse I do. Mini monster kahi ki

He muttered under his breath.

Nandini: Tumne kuch bola?

Manik: Maine? Nahi toh...I just said ki aage chale? Voh mera surprise...

Nandini: Ha just take two steps ahead and stop

Manik followed as said and stopped only to listen to some tapping sound and he realised Nandini was tapping or rather punching a code somewhere but the question still remained the same.

Where were they?

Hey lovely readers, its hardly 3 or 4 chapters more or maybe 5 till I end this story. This was my first story on wattpad and it'll always be special to me and I can't believe its gonna end. Anyways I hope you like this full of MaNan update. Do let me know.
