I'll admit it: jealousy oneshots are my fave

~Mal's POV~

I looked down at my phone in my hand as it buzzed.

Ben 💙: you still up for tonight?

I texted back.

Mal 💜: yeah, but what are we doing?

Ben 💙: I told you it was a secret

I groaned.

Mal 💜: fine

Ben💙: love you, Malie 💘

Mal 💜: Malie?

Ben💙: hey, you have a better idea?

Mal💜: yes

Ben💙: what is it?

Mal💜: Mal

Ben💙: that's what everyone calls you though

Mal💜: yeah I know

Ben💙: why can't I have a nickname for my girlfriend?

Mal💜: cause my name is a nickname, Benny Boo

Ben💙: so is mine. And you have a nickname for me

Mal💜: but I didn't come up with that one, Beastie🐻

Ben💙: did you come up with that one? And why the bear?

Mal💜: I don't think so. And cause Audrey also called you Benny Bear

Ben💙: okay...

I was texting Ben back when my phone ran out of battery.

Great... stupid me forgetting to charge it earlier.

I didn't go back to my dorm just yet, instead I sat down at one of the outside tables and started my homework.

I was working on my geometry sheet when I heard a voice beside me.

"Hope you don't mind if I sit here."

I looked up to see William, son of Snow White.

"Um... sure you can," I scooted over to make room for him at the table. No one else was around. Why didn't William sit at one of the other tables?

He sat down as I continued my work. I did feel a bit uncomfortable, but I didn't want to seem rude or anything, so I tried my best to concentrate.

I'll admit it: I suck at geometry. Problem #6 kept giving me trouble.

William must've noticed my growing frustration. "Hey, you need a bit of help?"

"I won't deny it," I laughed a little.

William smiled and pulled out his own pencil, then looked over my shoulder at the paper.

"See, what you do is..." he helped me, and by 'help' I didn't mean give me the answer straight. He just went over the formula and checked my solution. Which I really appreciated.

"Thanks, Will," I said after I completed the problem. "Can I call you Will?"

"Sure," he zipped up his backpack. "Almost everyone calls me that, except for my dad sometimes."

"I don't think I've met your dad," I noted.

"Well, both he and my mom were here at family day, but you probably didn't see them because... you know."

"Right. How could I ever forget that day?" I muttered.

"I'll bet you want to, though."

"Yeah." was all I said.

"I mean, whenever something bad or embarrassing happens to me I just can't forget it."

"I know, right?" I agreed.

"It sucks," he complained in a childish manner that was kinda cute.

No, Mal. You did not just think that.

Will and I spent about an hour just talking or venting. I'll admit, he was a pretty great listener, and when he wanted to be, he was funny.

I checked the time and stood. "I've gotta go, but it was great talking to you, Will."

"Same here, Mal. Would you mind if I walked you back to your dorm?"

"Why would you do that?" I asked coyly.

He shrugged. "My dad said to always offer."

I laughed. "Sure, why not?"

I slung my backpack over my shoulder and made my way over to my dorm, Will walking besides me.

We reached my dorm. I stuck the key in and turned it.

"Well," Will started. "It's been nice hanging with you."

"It has," I agreed. I opened the door and stepped in.

"I'll see you later."

I nodded and shut the door.

Evie wasn't there. I pulled my phone out from my pocket and plugged it in. Then I threw down my backpack at the foot of my bed.

Twenty minutes later, I heard a knock at the door. Evie had the key, so she wouldn't knock. Jay and Carlos were still at tourney practice, or so I thought.

I got up and opened it. Ben was standing in front of me, his arms crossed. For once, he didn't look too happy.

"Uh, hi..." I said. "Is something wrong?"

"Yeah." He said, a hint of bitterness in his tone.

"What?" I asked, slightly scared. Ben has never acted like this before.

"Why were you hanging with that guy?" he asked.

"Will?"

"I don't care. Whoever it was."

"Wait..." I smirked.

"What?" he asked, his tone annoyed.

"Are you jealous?"

"Uh... yeah. I mean, no, but-" Ben stuttered.

"You are!" I said.

"But anyway, why were you hanging out with that guy?"

"Will. He's Snow White's son. He was helping me with homework. That's all."

"Okay..."

"You look unconvinced," I crossed my arms. "Do you not believe me?"

"No, I do," he said. "I just don't like the idea of any other guy liking you."

I pulled him inside and locked the door behind him.

"I don't care if other guys like me. I'm yours, Benny Boo."

"Please stop calling me that..."

"No."

"You're impossible."

"So are you. You get jealous about a guy helping me with homework!" I teased.

"Shut up," he groaned.

"Make me," I dared.

"Maybe I will," he smirked.

I didn't have an answer to that. I didn't need one, apparently.

Ben just grabbed me and pulled me into a heated kiss.

We spent the evening watching movies in his room. Well, kinda. I'll admit we were making out too much to pay attention.
