Staying organized can be a challenge! I am very disorganized when it comes to school. I hit the mid-year slump and then everyone gets crammed in one folder for the rest of the year. This year, I'm working on my organization and I thought I'd share some of my tips!
To start: Read the chapters "Purse/Backpack Essentials", "Pencil Case", and "Ultimate Color-Coding Guide"
Color-Coding: I personally love color coding! Everything I need for each subject is all one specific color. For example, for Spanish I have a red notebook, a red folder, and a textbook with a red binder cover.
Accordion Folder: I use this to keep my homework organized! Get an 8-pocket accordion folder which will be what you use to take home your homework every night. Label each section with what classes you have, and then when you need to bring home papers, you won't have to carry bulky binders.
Paper Tray: I live for paper trays! I have one at home. The slots are labeled projects, study, and miscellaneous. Here's the one I have:

Planner: Get a planner! Writing on your hand isn't reliable- what happens if it washes off? A planner keeps all your thoughts in one place. I've linked a few below that I like:
