The Russian boy lead me back to Nottingham, where we headed deeper into the city than i had ever previously been. There were many long pathways until he finally broke the silence. There was a small covet between two warehouses, and it was covered by a single, metal sheet. Below, sat Leilani, snuggled up to her pink hoodie, and a small, scraggly looking duvet cover.
"It's all i could do. She was lost and she was kind and I just knew i'd have to help her one way or another. She wouldve died. How old is she?" Askef the boy.
"She is seventeen tomorrow." I said. "Do you wanna wake her up?" I asked.
"Leilani?" He said, nudging her. "Leilani."
"Hmm."
"Please wake up."
"Hmmm."
"Please? Youre dad is here."
"OMG DAD." She jumped up and threw herself around me. I flinched in pain as she hit my injured arm.
"Oh are you okay dad?"
"No, i got shot and lost my daughter. Your mum has been worried sick. Jaydan has had to have a hand amputated and your boyfriend here has told me all about you little mis-demeanour. Leilani Whalley-James."
She smacked him.
"So, who are you?" I asked the boy on the way home.
"I am an ex-russian soldier who defected. My name is Aliksandr Kotrovic. You can call me Alex."
"So, Alex." I said. "What are your secrets? The russians, why did you defect?"
"They were using us a pawns in chess, where the rest were all knights."
"Ahh."

Two hours later...

We walked into the warehouse and i heard Kayleigh.
"Any news or sightings?"
"Leilani is here."
"OMG." Said Kayleigh as she ran towards her. Her arms instantly wrapped around her, and didnt let go.
"Come on Alex." He followed me into the kitchen area. "You hurt my daughter, you will meet the same fste as Kaden. Come on, follow."
I walked him to the corpse room where he looked intensely with gaping eyes at the bodies.
"I wont hurt her."
