"Warren? Is that you?" She asked, in a soft voice.
"Yeah, it is." I said. I felt blood in my mouth, and warm blood on my stomach. I saw people standing over me, after falling to the floor. I saw the world begin to fade...
Three days later...
I saw a light, a bright white light that burned my eyes. It was blinding. In my ears, a ringing sound broke my eardrums. A familiar smell of burning flowed through my nose. I felt every inch of my body ache in pain. My arms were heavy and so were my legs.
"Kayleigh?" I murmered. "Kay?"
"Warren!" She said. She went to hug my, but i held a heavy hand up. I was in a lot of pain.
"Im in so much pain, Kay." I reached for my pistol and found it wasnt there. "Take your gun and shoot me please."
"No!" She said, holding my hand. "It will wear off. She didnt inject you. Lorien saved your life."
"Lorien? The Lorien? From Kirkby College, that I only managed to get over in year 10?"
"Yeah that one."
"Wow. Talk about repaying the favour."
"Huh?" Asked Kayliegh raising an eyebrow.
"Oh I saved her at prom." I said. Lorien walked into the room.
"Hey, youre awake!" She ran over and went to hug me.
"Argh!" I yelled in pain.
"Oh, sorry Warren." She said, stepping back. Kayleigh looked over at me, and realised I wanted some time alone with Lorien.
"Ill go see what Jaydan's up to."
She walked out if the room and i thanked Lorien.
"Thanks. You saved my life."
"That was my first kill yano. There was a lot more blood than I thought there would be."
"Typically you, loz." I said. "I bet you gagged too."
"Umm, the reason Im here, is you need to know that your friend, Amelia has been shot in the leg but has given birth to a baby boy, and uhh..."
"Yes loz?" I asked worried.
"One of your friends have gone missing."
"Who?"
"Elijah..."
