Start from the beginning

"No CeyCey...you don't know my Abi....it's only a matter of a few days love. It will pass so quickly. And you'll be busy with your cousins wedding."

"Uff...Ayhan..."

"Listen CeyCey...I want you to promise me. You'll keep Sanem safe...she's very dear to me and she's been through a lot."

"Ayhan don't you worry....I will look after her as I would my own sister...if I had one. Infact I reguard her as my little sister. Don't worry my love." He told her while kissing her cheek.

"Come on you two get a move on...Ayhans cab came ages ago." Guliz called them.

After hugs and kisses from everyone Ayhan caught her cab.

Omer offered Sanem a seat in the front with him...but she opted to sit in the back with CeyCey. She needed some knowledge on the background of their family. Omer would have willingly given her the information. However since the conversation with Ayhan...about Omers possible feelings she thought it would be safe to ask CeyCey insted.

For some reason Sanem was feeling really nervous. She hated lying...if Omers family were anything like him. She knew it would be hard because Omer was kind and careing. This thought escalated her already nervousness.

As they left the city...and began the journey on the outskirts of the city... the views were just breathtakingly beautiful. They lived in a village... which was till home to most of his own family.

So she asked about the family and CeyCey had told them. Everyone knew each other... and their goings on....CeyCey told her. Knowing this relaxed her somewhat as it sort of reassembled the neighbourhood she had grown up in.

"Our parents grew up in the village...we have our own family business....and sell our products all over."

"Ok...hmm so what business does your family run?"

"We have orchards and fields so... there's a vairity....of fruits.... vegetables and we also have a harvest of wheat. The harvest season starts in a few weeks."

"It sounds really busy."

"Yes it is...we have a large family...but some of the children have ventured out into different fields."

"Didn't you want to stay in the family business...CeyCey."

"Let's put it this way Sanem...we're lucky our fathers didn't push us into it....like their fathers had. Our fathers didn't have a choice. They have us a choice. Those of us who wanted to go futher with our education and away from the village were not restricted, and those of us who wanted to stay...stayed."

"You sound like a close family."

"Yes we are...I can never be away too long. That's why I feel blessed to have found Hayat. Working for her is like being at home with my family."

"Yes I understand..." Sanem simply said.

"CeyCey have you told your family about Ayhan?"

"Yes Sanem....I told my Anne the moment I realised I was in love. I want to marry Ayhan as soon as possiable."

"Omer hasn't told his family...I'm just feeling nervous." She voiced her concerns.

"Sanem I have to tell you....well really Omer should have told you. Omer is an only child, his Anne...my teyze... passed away when he was young. My older teyze raised him like her own. Granted she worries about him and would like to see him settled. There's really no need to be nervous my teyze and amca are really nice people."

"Oh...God I didn't know about Omer....I'm so sorry."

CeyCey put a hand on her arm,"No... Sanem it's not your fault...Omer should have told you. And to be honest I don't agree with him putting you in this position."

"As long as everything turns out fine...I don't mind. That's what's worrying me...and I really don't want to upset anyone."

"I've told him over and over again but he's not listening to me. Our teyze is a a strong determined women. Whatever she says goes....well the only one at the moment she hasn't yet been able to trap is her younges... "

"What CeyCey you think marriage as a trap? Some sort of prision sentance?" Sanem said...cutting him off from completing his sentence.

"No...of course not Sanem you're misinterpreting what I'm saying. It's not the time for arranged marriages. Everyone want to choose their own life partner. Not be thrown together without an understanding of each other."

"You're right CeyCey...you're right about that..." Sanem said...opening her bottle of water and taking a swig of water.

"I mean...don't get me wrong...its everyone choice if they like it good for them. My own parents had an arranged marriage...and It's worked well for tgem. But it's just not for me. What about you Sanem? How do you feel about marriage?" CeyCey said.

The question took Sanem by surprise as the water she was drinking went the wrong way and she started to cough. CeyCey quickly tapped her back.

"Sanem...Sanem are you ok."

"Yes...Yes..."She held out her hand."I'm fine..." She told him.

Omer and Guliz looked back "Are you ok Sanem...what happened?"

"Nothing...water." She told them holding out the water bottle.

The assigment was finally over...Can breathed a heavy sigh of relief. He had been home for the past two nights. Sleeping in his own bed...uff.... it felt so good to be home. The paper work was coming together...in a week or so he could finally put it behind him. He'd taken some time off and would be heading to his parents home after he wrapped everything up.

He got up and went over to the draw opening it he picked up the photo of the scan...looked at it for a few moments...before putting it back.

He wasn't really a sentimental sort of guy...but this had really got to him. He needed to find Sanem....and put things in perspective. He needed closure once and for all. Then he would talk to his Anne. Oh God...who would believe him thinking this way.

Well he decided it was time...time to settle down.
