What did Ayhan mean...was Omer in love with her...laughing at her self. She shook her head...No...No. He knew they were friends how many times had she said that. Bitting the tip of her thumb maybe...maybe Ayhan was right maybe she should put some rules forward...just in case.

Having finished packing her things, she headed to find Omer and set thing's straight.

Going down to the main reception she saw him sitting at a table...in the outside seating area. She hadn't the faintest idea of how to approach the subject. Omer saw her and waved at her. Coming over to him they welcomed each other by a hug and kiss to both cheeks...like always. However tonight it felt different.... maybe she was thinking too deeply into what Ayhan had said.

"Hey...got everything packed?"

"Hmm....yes everythings packed... Errmm...Omer I wanted to talk..."

"Please Sanem tell me you haven't changed your mind."

"Errmm.....No...but I..." She sighed "I...wanted to clear a few things" Sanem said hesitantly.

"What do you mean Sanem?"

"Well...I think before we start anything....I mean Omer we need some ground rules. I don't want things to get complicated."

"Sanem...look I've explained...."

"I know Omer, but I want everything to be clear...so we both know where we stand."

"Ok...whatever you want...after all you're doing me a huge favour. So whatever makes you comfortable."

Sanem explained the rules to him.
"So...no getting too close...no touching. No kissing. Definitely no sharing a room."

"Agreed....agreed...I promise...but one thing Sanem, I may have to...like kiss you on the head or hold your hand. I mean come on....I have to make this look some what real. As for sharing a room. Don't worry, my teyze will keep you as far away from me as possible...in that sense. She doesn't believe in all that before marriage. Even though she knows it happens in this day and age."

"Uff...that's a relief...a woman after my own heart."

"What Sanem...you're that old fashioned." Omer said.

Sanem thought back to her own experience. If she had only followed her mind...Insted of giving in to lust, that night. She could have saved herself from a lot of pain and saved herself for her true love...when she found them.

Then again she remembered she had thought too much about her job back then. Thinking of getting married and settling down...had been the furthest thing from her mind.

Settling down meant finding a man...which she didn't have time for. Falling in love...again time consuming. And getting married...well that was commitment....and at that time being commitmented to anything or anyone other then her job was unimaginable to her.

And now when she had been thinking of these things. Well...ok so she may find a man, fall in love...even get as far as getting married...but what would happen when the time came to complete the family.

Compleating the cycle meant starting a family and makeing it all complete. But she wasn't...she wasn't a complete woman so how could she complete a family. At the end of the day everyone wanted a family...didn't they. Children to carry their lineage. What man would want an incomplete woman...like her. Closing her eyes... that dream even if it hadn't been her priority at the time. It had always been at the back of her mind....well that dream was well and truly over.
