My eyes darted open.

I was awake.

Finally awake..

I opened my eyes and I saw Meg sitting at my side.

"Quenty! You okay man?" She asked me.

"I.." I started to say.

I couldn't find the words to say what happened.

My hands reached up to my abused mouth, I felt around my lips.

They were unscathed, to my surprise.

My breathing started to waver. I looked back up at Meg and I...

I started crying.

Again.

I clutched onto her for dear life.

She literally saved me, most of me.

An angel.

I worshiped her.

"than-nk you..thankyou" I whisper-cried to her.

She was confused, but she wrapped her arms around me as well.

"Yeah, I got you".

If I'm being totally honest, I wish it was Frank that was holding me..

I missed his warmth..

"What happened?" She asked me. " I heard you yellin', so I came over."

"j-jjust uhh....bad. bad dream.." I replied.

Just then, we heard the grandfather clock ticking.

It clanged, signifying as if it had struck 12.

I started fading away in Meg's arms.

"fuck," Was the last word I said as I vanished into thin air.

-

Back into Badham Preschool.

Where the nightmares first started.

I wipe my recent tears away with my cold fist.

Fuck this.

I see a generator, with nobody near it.

I start working on fixing the generator.

Slowly it gets louder.

I'm still alone.

As I'm about to complete it, I hear a scream.

A man's scream.

My grip on the generator tightens at the sound.

My heart beating fast, the generator spat out it's light.

I run.

I run to the next one.

I'm determined to get out.

Get out no matter what.

I never want to be at this place again.

I spot another generator, this time it was making noise. It let me know that someone was working on it. It let me know that I wasn't alone.

It let me know that I wasn't alone
