It feels good to have someone,
At times when you actually need them,
Losing such a friend is worthless,
Who proves to be an actual gem.
The time wasn't good,
But you still made it look better,
I have several reasons behind,
For writing this letter.
It feels good to have a companion,
When you have lost all your hope,
It is amazing to have someone like you,
Who makes it easy to climb the slope.
Words are falling short,
For all that you have done,
Spending time with you,
Have always been so fun.
It feels good to have a friend like you,
With whom I can relate so much,
When you are there on my darkest days,
I don't need anyone as such.
I hope our friendship goes on forever,
While we keep creating good memories,
I feel strong when you are with me,
Together we can fight the toughest of our enemies.
