94 - Staying Alone

Staying alone at times,
Helps me to hide without a trace,
I wish to take a day off,
From running in every day's race.

I wasn't ready to wake up,
I knew I felt depressed that day,
I was bothering myself enough,
To affect all that I wanted to say.

I wasn't really feeling good,
So I tried staying away from the crowd,
Yet those voices of my head,
Kept criticising me aloud.

I felt unwanted,
I couldn't stop myself from crying,
Even at the toughest time,
I knew that I kept trying.

I wanted to shine,
Besides feeling exhausted of this burden,
While moving towards the sunshine,
I preferred raising every curtain.

The same gossips and same discussions,
Goes every day all around,
I started hating voices,
I felt disinterested to hear people sound.

They are interested in my life,
More than me and my loved ones will ever be,
I can't discuss their lives all day,
At least I am not that free.
