In quest of finding love,
I met someone so real and true,
I held his hand,
Closed my eyes,
Our journey started
Of which I had no clue,
Where it is going to lead us,
Where it's going to end,
Meanwhile, it felt so good,
It felt like home.
Seeing myself the way he saw me,
Made me look so beautiful,
Until the mirror confronted my scars,
Giving explanations to the beautiful lies he made,
Giving better definitions of love,
That his eyes ever told,
Looking at my scars.
