Jaebeom was shocked when he realised he had been busted.

The owner of the apartment was home and Jaebeom had failed to detect his presence until it was too late.

It was supposed to be a simple mission.

He had done extensive research and carefully chose Jinyoung's apartment.

The apartment was perfect in terms of height and view and the inside was definitely clean and cosy which added to Jaebeom's satisfaction.

When Jaebeom broke into the apartment at 7 pm he had taken his time to look around since he had time to spare.

He didn't fail to notice a few instruments around the house which Jaebeom had known was used for composing from his prior research.

Maybe it was sentiment due to the fact Jinyoung was living the composer life Jaebeom wanted, so he let his guard down and hummed to himself as he set up his weapon. As well as, looking through Park Jinyoung's CD and vinyl collection every now and then when his back started hurting.

But Park Jinyoung showed up out of the blue and Jaebeom went still. It was as if years of training dissipated.

He racked his brain for what to do or even what to say.

Jinyoung was certainly much more attractive in the flesh.

The round glasses and mussed up hair only made him look more endearing to Jaebeom.

The rapid usage of his brain drew him to overdrive and before he knew it, a potted plant was flying straight at his face.

He let out a pained groan as his hands shot up to his nose. To say he was surprised by the guy's strength would've been an understatement.

Jaebeom was impressed.

But he was also mortified to know he was so out of practice that a normal citizen was able to overcome him with such ease.

His embarrassment occupied his thoughts and Jaebeom once again failed to lay a hand in the guy as the butt of his own gun was slammed against his head.

The last thing Jaebeom saw before he blacked out was the face of Park Jinyoung.

And it made his heart stutter.

"I said I'd explain didn't I?" The man said lowly

"I said I'd explain didn't I?" The man said lowly.

Jinyoung wanted nothing more but to smack that stupid smirk off the man's face. A furious blush had made its way onto his face and he prayed that the man wouldn't notice.

"You'd better explain while I'm still giving you a chance to." Jinyoung managed to get out, faking confidence.

The man raised an eyebrow at his words but explained nonetheless.

"As you have seen, my job isn't a typical one. I planned on using your apartment to take out my target but I didn't expect for you to come home. I definitely would not have put you in danger if I knew you were going to be here."

Jinyoung nodded slightly, as he avoided the man's intense gaze.

Usually, Jinyoung wouldn't be one to shy away from eye contact but something about this man, made him nervous and Jinyoung couldn't help but blink irregularly as he stared everywhere else except at the man, stubbornly.

The man seemed to find it amusing as he let out a chuckle.

The sound resonated within Jinyoung and he cursed the effect a stupid laugh had on him.

"Y'know... As much as I like to watch you squirm under me, I seriously need your help to get up." The man admits.

Now it was Jinyoung's turn to chuckle.

He felt the solid grip on his wrists let go and the weight rested on him lessen a little.

"God, you're fat," Jinyoung mumbled as he struggles to get the fully grown adult man off him.

Having obviously heard Jinyoung, the man narrows his eyes and grumbles that he's 'muscular' not 'fat'.

It takes Jinyoung awhile to help the man up but he succeeds anyways.

"Uhm, could you untie me?" The man asks.

Jinyoung blinks, with his terrible eyesight, he could barely make out the man's features let alone untie him.

"You knocked off my glasses and I can't see. Point me to my glasses then I'll help." Jinyoung responds.

The man raises an eyebrow but juts his chin out in the direction of Jinyoung's glasses anyways.

After patting the floors for a minute, Jinyoung manages to find his glasses.

Even though he had accepted the man's reasonable explanation, he was still wary and afraid that something worse could happen to him.

Not that his day had been bad enough already.

"Thank you." The man mutters when Jinyoung releases him.

Jinyoung clutched his makeshift rope tightly in his hands as he waited for the man to make a move.

"You can call me JB," He says, "My job's not done so I'll still be in the area until it's completed."

Jinyoung stares at JB wide-eyed as he wonders if his apartment will be used again.

JB seems to catch onto Jinyoung's train of thought as he answers his unasked question.

"I won't be using your apartment again, don't worry." He assures Jinyoung.

The sigh of relief that escapes Jinyoung was the best feeling he had experienced the whole day.
