Coop

We got home, and my phone was blowing up with messages from Cody. He kept lying to me, and I finally blocked his number. He's a liar, and I refused to believe his lies.

I stayed in my room, nursing my broken heart. Well, that's after I trashed it. My parents tried to help me, but I pushed them away. They called in reinforcements in the form of papa. He showed up and saw the mess.

"I'm going to guess you're upset," Papa said as I gave him a look. "When your mom got her heart broke, I had to listen to this lame ass music until I kicked her out of the house."

"I refuse to listen to lame-ass music," I shrugged.

"So, you trashed your room. I'm not sure that's a smart move, breaking your stuff," Papa said as he rubbed his jaw.

"It doesn't matter. Love sucks and Cody is a freaking liar," I told him.

"Ah, now we're getting somewhere. Did Cody lie to you, or did you assume?" He asked me.

"Cody lied to me. He came to the door in a towel while some guy was in the house, shirtless," I told him.

"And that means he is automatically cheating," he added.

I looked at him.

"Makes sense to me," he replied as I rolled my eyes. "Did you let him explain?" He asked me.

"I know what I saw," I grumbled as Papa looked at me. I didn't want to talk about this anymore. If they were going to take Cody's side, I didn't want to hear it.

Andi called me, and the minute she mentioned Cody, I hung up. The same with Brandon and Marta. I know what I saw. Everyone wants to defend Cody; then, I don't need them.

"Well," I asked everyone.

"He won't talk to us and hangs upon us," Brandon said to me.

I looked at them.

"Didn't you tell him you were rooming with your cousin?" Marta asked me.

"I didn't know until I got to school. I was going to tell Coop, but I was busy getting situated," I said defensively.

"The only way you're going to fix this is if you show Coop. I know my brother, and he hates liars," Andi told me.

"Trust me; I've tried to call Coop. He blocked my number. What am I going to do?" I asked them as I sat down. It was a mess, and I had no idea how to fix it.

"Call for help," Marta mentioned as we all looked at her. She smiled as I looked at her, confused.

Then Andi snapped her fingers. "I got it, but you're going to have to alter your plans a bit."

"At this point, I will do whatever I can. I'm in love with Coop," I confessed as everyone looked at me, shocked. Oops, I wasn't planning on saying anything yet.

I came over to Coop's house since I had no one to hang out with this year. Thanks, Brandon, you schmuck for leaving. I went up to Coop's room to find it trashed as he was cleaning it up.

"Did a tornado suddenly rip through and forget to leave Dorothy and Toto?" I questioned as he gave me an unamused look.

"No, Cody is cheating on me, so I dumped him, or he dropped me and wanted to do it horribly. It doesn't matter, love sucks," Coop said as he threw things into a trash bag.

"And this is why I don't date. It's too much trouble," I said as I walked in and plopped down on Coop's bed.

Coop rolled his eyes, and I shrugged.

"Shouldn't be hanging out with Larissa?" He asked me.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Because aren't you two besties?" Coop questioned me sarcastically.

"If you mean by getting me into detention? Then, yeah, sure," I replied. Coop looked at me weird. "I swear that girl is bound and determined to send me to juvie." I shook my head.

"I want to get through my senior year and be left alone," Coop grumbled.

"Good luck," I chuckled as I laid there. Oh, Cooper Harrison didn't know it, but his sister and our friends enlisted my help to fix Coop's problem. He might think this was over, but things were just getting started.

"Yo, twit!" We heard someone yell as Coop and I went over to his window and stuck our heads out of it to find Larissa standing there.

"Didn't anyone tell you stalking is illegal in all fifty states?" I asked Larissa as she looked at me.

"Didn't anyone tell you, trying to hide from a Gray never works?" She smirked as I sighed.

"You were saying," Coop said as I looked at him. Okay, so now I had two issues to deal with this year, trying to help Coop and dealing with Larissa Gray. God save us all.

It's the end of Meant For You and I know, you're bum, but that doesn't mean you won't find out what happens to Mack and company. There is going to be a final book to the series titled Meant For Each Other.
