*Warning: Short Chapter*

After a while the group emerged from the Jungle of Misery and kept walked up a trail, watching as Buck lead the way.

"Do you think the beast will find, Sid?" Crash asked shakily.

"Or more importantly, us?" Eddie added.

"Rudy?" Buck questioned as he stopped and looked behind to look at the two brothers. "Are you joking? he's relentless. He knows all, sees all eats all." Buck said as he towered over the two brothers causing them to be scared and wishing that they stayed next to Sarabi. "So that's a, yes." Buck finished.

Buck then noticed the two brother's worried gaze and turned around and saw a pair of giant, red angry eyes.

"Hey, get off my lawn! Go on shoo!!" The eyes turned out to be wings that belonged to a butterfly and Sarabi couldn't help but to look at it in awe. "I knew that guy when he was a caterpillar. You know, before he came out." Buck said as he continued to walk.

As Sarabi was walking she saw that Diego was talking to Buck and couldn't help but to wonder what they were talking about. But as she got closer she saw Buck talking into a stone causing her to look at Buck with confusion.

"Hello? No... I can't really talk right now... I'm trying to recover a dead sloth." Sarabi looked at the weasel with slight horror. "Now, they're following me! I know! They think I'm crazy."

'I wonder why.' Sarabi thought as she continued to watch the weasel with concern.

"O-okay... we're going into the Chasm of Death, I'm gonna lose you. I love you too." Buck then groaned before he whispered something before tossing the rock away. "Alright, follow me." Buck said as he started walking off as if nothing happened.

"That's you in three weeks." Manny said as he looked down at Diego before almost jumping in fright. "Sarabi when did you get there?" Manny questioned causing Sarabi to raise an eyebrow up at him.

"I've been standing here since the beginning of his conversation." Sarabi rolled her eyes before she started walking away.

"Is it me, or does she seem different?" Diego spoke as he watched his mate walk in front of him.

"No she seems the same to me." Manny dismissed as he walked ahead.

Diego couldn't help but to sense that something was different about Sarabi and he couldn't place what it was. Then his mind drifted to earlier.

"Alright, pregnant ladies."

Was all what echoed through his mind, but he immediately shook that thought away. There was no way that Sarabi is pregnant. Or so he thought.

Diego couldn't help but to let the what ifs run through his mind as he continued to walk, occasionally looking at Sarabi every now and then.

If Sarabi was pregnant with his cubs, he would be overjoyed and howling to the moon, he would do anything for her and their cub. But then reality came crashing down on him like a tidal wave.

She thinks he left her. Well technically he did leave her, but he was going to come back after he found a new place to settle down.

Letting out a sigh he didn't even noticed that everyone had stopped and they were in a cave filled with green smoke or gas.

"So, why do they call it the chasm of death?" Crash asked confused.

"Well we tried, 'big smelly crack', but.... uh, that just made everybody giggle." Buck explained.

"Well now what?" Manny questioned just as a giant rib cage came down into view of the mammals.

"Madams..." Buck smirked as he looked at both Ellie and Sarabi.

"Whoa, they are not doing that." Manny said as he stopped both females from taking another step forward.

"Bup, bup, bup, bup. Rule number one." Buck sang as he pointed one finger up at Manny.

Eddie then tapped his chin before an excited grin took his mouth and raised his hand exclaiming.

"Come on, mammoth. You're supposed to have a good memory." Buck tuted as he poked Manny's forehead.

"Always listen to Buck." Ellie said as she stepped forward.

Sarabi was about to step forward as well but was stopped by Diego.

"Don't do this." Diego pleaded causing Sarabi to groan in annoyance.

"You can't tell me what to do! Especially since this is the first thing you've said to since you came running back." Sarabi snarled as she stepped forward ignoring the shock look from Diego, the two possum brothers, Manny and Buck.

"Now! Eyes forward. Back straight... and uh, yes, breath in the toxic fumes and you'll probably die." Buck whispered the last part.

"Toxic fumes." Both Ellie and Sarabi squeaked.

"Just another day in paradise." Buck said with a content smile on his face.

"Wait!" Both Diego and Manny pleaded.

"Geronimo!" Buck shouted as he cut he vine and the rib cage went flying down kind of like a zip line ride.

They landed safely on the other side and Sarabi couldn't help but to pant a little with a small smile on her face. That was exhilarating.

"Ellie! Sarabi! You okay?" Manny shouted.

"You have got to try this!" Ellie shouted with glee.

"Alright now pile on everyone, couldn't be easier." Buck shouted.

Ellie and Sarabi could only look at each other.
