Whatever the princess wanted, the princess got. Well except, of course, from her father. King Bass never believed in his kids, even if one is one of the smartest kids in Constance. One more thing she never got, and never will get? Nate Archibald.
Chloe lies in her room, Chuck invited her out but she insisted that she had homework to do, when really she hated smoking. She has a drink every one blue moon but that's about it. She also knew he was going to be with Nate. The same Nate that has yet to have sex with his girlfriend that he has been with for forever. In a way Chloe was relieved. He was still a virgin, and it gave her hope that maybe one day to she could change that for him. She knew he would be smoking as well. She never judged the two of them for it, but she wished that Chuck wouldn't use that as a distraction to get his mind off of things.
"Chloe." Chloe instantly shoots up from her bed, looking towards her door. There, King Bass stood, her father. Her father who deep down, she was very scared of. "I trust you made a good impression on the business and to my partners while at the party." He speaks sternly.
"Yes father." She speaks calmly, he glares at her. Making sure she's not lying.
"Very well then. I'll be out tonight, don't wait up for me. Margaret will cook you some dinner, please eat before I finish up tonight." He leaves immediately. Bart did care for the girl, as he did for his son. He does this to make them stronger. He doesn't want them to fall flat on their ass. Chloe knew he was probably going to see some woman tonight, as long as he came home happy she could care less. Margaret is from Spain. She was their maid/babysitter/another mother to both Charles and Chloe. More Chloe since Charles has always been independent. Chloe always begged Margaret to adopt the two of them when they were younger. She only dreamed of having a loving, caring mother. Margaret was only in her late 20s, Bart paid her good money since she were young to watch over the two now teenagers. She were 13, and the two were 6 and 5. 10 whole years with the Bass family.
"Chloe?" Margaret knocks on the door softly, "dinner will be ready shortly. Is there anything in specific that you want?"
"Surprise me." Chloe smiles, making the 29 year old smile back.
Later that night

Chloe comes late, making it awkward for Blair and Serena since they didn't want to start without her. Blair knew she was doing it on purpose, which she were. Serena chuckles once she sees the scarf on the youngest girl.
"I see one thing hasn't changed, for both you and your brother." she chuckles, referring to the scarf. Chloe smiles slightly, giving Serena hope. Serena and Blair talk about Blair's mother. Of course Chloe knew everything and actually knew how Blair felt. They were there for each other when their so called best friend wasn't. "How are you Chloe? You know with.." she forgot what Chloe was interested in.
"With theatre?" Chloe scoffed, 2 steps back Serena. "I had to quit. My father despised coming to my shows and told me it wasn't appropriate to be doing all of that if I'm going to join his business, but who cares? At least I had my brother, Blair and Nate here for me." She smiles sarcastically.
"I'm so sorry..." Serena says sadly.
"Yeah we can tell. Since you didn't call or write us the entire time that these things were happening." Blair took a drink from her gin. Serena made up an excuse.
"Why did you even go to boarding school?" Chloe cuts her off. "Do you know how it felt for us when you didn't show up to school, and to call your house only to hear your mom say 'Serena didn't tell you? That she moved to Connecticut.'"
"I just had to go. I need to get away from everything." Serena stuttered. Chloe felt a pang in her chest, everything including her friends that would do anything for her? Wow. "I-I saw you today with Katie and Izz and I get it! I don't want to take anything away from you-"
"Because it's just yours to take." Blair says, in disbelief.
"No that's not what I mean! I just want things to go back to normal for us. Walking to school together, dancing on tables at bungalows, night swimming at your moms country house!" Blair and Chloe look towards each other. Deep down Chloe knew something else was up that Serena wasn't telling, but Blair missed her best friend too much. She was blinded. "You guys are my sisters. We need each other."
Spotted at the palace hotel. S, B & C having a heart to heart. More like just S & B. C looks like she could care less. We knew she had a little bit of her brother in her ;). Hmm, why so thirsty S? You may have won over B...for now. But we still think you're hiding something.
