"Mamma main kaisi lag rahi hu?", Bela was working on the laptop when Bulbul burged into her room running and almost jumped over Bela. On the other side, Bela was a bit upset with the early morning incident as Maahir could easily persuade Bulbul to have her milk while she could never of course not without a fight. So, on seeing Bulbul, all the anger which was actually for Maahir, she vented out on Bulbul especially when she saw Bulbul was wearing Maahir's shirt which actually was like Bulbul's frock alongwith his sunglasses. Bulbul was looking at Bela with high expectation that her mother would praise her, but instead, Bela scolded her, "Ye kaise kapre pehne huye hai Bulbul? Daddy ki shirt aur sunglass pehen kar ghum rahi ho? Tumhaare khud ke kapre kaha hai aur haalat dekho apni baal bhi brush nehi kiye aur chali aayi muh uthaakar. Jaao pehle jaakar apna huliya badlo. Puri cartoon lag rahi ho." Bela scolded Bulbul so badly that she got hurt and then immediately left from there and after she left, Bela realized that she might have behaved a way too badly but she was way too angry with Maahir to even apologize to Bulbul. Outside, Bulbul wept while walking away from Bela's room when she bumped into Maahir who was busy talking in the phone. On seeing her, Maahir had a smile on his face as he traced her from head to toe. He disconnected his phone and then with a smile said, "Haayo rabba kinni soni lag rahi hai meri kudi!" He then understood that Bulbul was not happy with that comment and rather was crying and on realizing that, he picked her up in his arms and asked, "Bulbul ro rahi hai? Bulbul to rone waale bachcho mein se to hai nehi. Kya ho gaya?" In a weeping tone, Bulbul asked, "Daddy main cartoon lag rahi hu kya?" Maahir widened his eyes and replied, "No!! Bilkul nehi!! Meri to pari jaisi beti hai bilkul aur kis gadhe ne aisa kaha?" Bulbul replied, "Vo male nehi female hai." He again asked, "To kis gadhi ne aisa kaha?" She replied, "Vo gadhi nehi meri mamma hai." Maahir became a bit over conscious on hearing that and said, "Mamma ne kaha? Chalo koi nehi par bola kya jo aise muh phula kar, aise mote mote aasu baha rahi hai meri gudiya? Chalo bolo!" Bulbul replied, "Main na aapka shirt aur sunglass pehen kar mamma ko dikhaane gayi to mamma ne kaha main cartoon lag rahi hu. Main kya sachchi mein cartoon lag rahi hu?" Maahir put out the sunglass from Bulbul's eyes and then took her to Madhu and asked, "Saasumom zara batana meri kudi kaisi lag rahi hai?" Madhu took Bulbul's evil eyes and replied, "Haaye ye bhi koi puchne ki baat hai, meri dono bachchiya na paida hi khubsurat hui hai, apni naani par jo gayi hai." At this Bulbul smiled at last and Maahir kissed her cheeks and said, "That's like my girl! Rotlu Bulbul bilkul achchi nehi lagti hai, vo to gusse waali, sabko pareshaan karte huye hi achchi lagti hai." He then took her to his room and then made her sit on his lap and said, "Beta main aaj aapko na ek secret batata hu, ye jo girls hote hai na, matlab mamma jaisi girls, vo na itni jealous type hoti hai ke koi unse achcha dikhe ya koi unse bhi zyaada achcha ho, ye unse bardaasht hi nehi hota. Ab mamma ko hi dekh lo, you know hamaari shaadi ke baad na mamma ghar mein zyaadatar time mere hi kapre pehen kar to ghumti thi, ab aapne pehna aur aap to... kisiki nazar na lage meri bachchi ko, aap to world ki sabse zyaada khubsurat larki ho to mamma aapse jealous ho gayi isiliye aisa kar rahi hai. Mamma to hamesha se hi itni jalkukri hai ke kya batau." Bulbul asked, "Aapko kaise pata?" Maahir replied, "Arey aapki mamma aur main saath mein rahe hai na, wife hai na vo meri to mujhe sab pata hai. Vo jaanbujh kar kar rahi hai ye sab, mujhe like nehi karti hai na isiliye. Ab bolo main daddy kiska hu aapka hu na? To aap apne daddy ke kapre pehen rahe ho to isme dusro ko load kyu aayega batao." Bulbul listened to each and every word and in the process also thought about it and realized whatever her father was telling her was correct and she said, "Agar mamma aapke kapre pehen sakti hai to main bhi to pehen sakti hu, agar aapko koi problem nehi hai to unko kyu ho rahi hai? Aap mamma ke daddy thore hi ho, aap to mere daddy ho, sahi hai kisi dusre ko kyu fark parega." She came down of Maahir's lap and said, "Bilkul sahi baat hai, main nehi roungi, bilkul bhi nehi rone waali hu main to. Mamma samajhti kya hai apne aap ko? Main bhi Bulbul hu. Aap sahi bol rahe ho daddy, actually na mere saath reh reh kar intelligent ho gaye ho. Chalo daddy mujhe bhukh lag rahi hai. Main na hair brush karke aati hu." Saying Bulbul left from there and Maahir gave a satisfying smile and said, "Mrs. Sehgal, aap to opportunities paros paros ke de rahi ho mujhe aur phir main to ab pehle waala Maahir Sehgal raha nehi jo aapke ishaaro se chalta tha. Tumne mujhe aisa banne par majboor kiya hai. Now, the game Mrs. Sehgal, is on! Oooo I'm lovin' it!!" Maahir got up and left from there to have breakfast. In the breakfast table, when Bulbul came she found that everyone had grabbed one seat except her father and all of them had already been served, she got angry and asked, "Mere daddy ka plate kyu nehi laga?" Hearing this, Mr. Sarna said to his wife, "Haanji Suhaani ki ma aapko na Maahir ka plate lagwa dena chahiye tha. After all vo ghar ka bara damaad hai." Mrs. Sarna looked at Bela who was very disturbed and replied, "Dekhiye ji jamai hoga vo aapke liye, mera kuch nehi lagta hai, mera to sirf ek hi jamai hai Pratham bas aur koi nehi aur main nehi lagaungi uska plate. Usey khaana hoga to vo khud aakar apna plate serve kare aur khud khaaye." When Mrs. Sarna made that statement, both Bulbul and Madhu were hurt but just Madhu didn't react and Bulbul could not hold her reaction but she didn't reply but instead of replying, she just grabbed one end of the table cloth of the dining table and pulled it with both her hands and all of them screamed aloud as all the foods that were at the table fall on the floor and those who were sitting, their clothes got spoiled as the food fall on them as well. Bela screamed aloud Bulbul's name and was about to slap her when Maahir stepped in between and hid Bulbul behind him and said, "Oh hullo Mrs. Sehgal aap subhe subhe breakfast karne ke bajaaye meri beti par haath utha rahi hai? You know that's absolutely not fare!" Bela looked at the peeping Bulbul angrily and replied, "Tumne dekha usne kya kiya? Sab kuch kharaab kar diya usne, saara khaana barbaad kar diya. Tumhe kya lagta hai is harkat ke baad main iski aarti utaarungi?" Maahir chuckled and replied, "To ye sab to pehle sochna chahiye tha na? Jab pehli baar usne badtameezi ki thi, usko ye thappar tab maarna chahiye tha. Bachcho ko pyar ke saath saath discipline ki bhi zarurat parti hai, jab discipline karne ki zarurat thi tab nehi kiya to ab chillakar kya faayda?" He then looked at Bulbul asked, "Baba kyu kiya aisa?" Bulbul angrily replied, "Dekho na daddy maine auntynaani ko bola tha ke aapke saath kabhi bhi bad behave na kare par dekho na sabko breakfast par bulaaya aapko chor kar to mujhe gussa nehi aayega? Bolo?" Maahir looked at Bela at first and then at Bulbul and asked, "To beta aapne ye jo harkat ki kya vo sahi tha? Aisa nehi karna chahiye tha na beta?" Bulbul folded her arms angrily and replied, "Maine to inko warn kiya hi tha, meri baat sunni chahiye thi na inko, kyu nehi suni? Mere daddy ko insult koi karega to mujhe gussa nehi aayega? Isliye maine aisa kiya, mere daddy ko breakfast par nehi bulaaya aur baaki sab araam se beth kar khaayenge aisa to bilkul bhi nehi hone dungi main. Mere daddy ko breakfast agar nehi milega to main kisi aur ko khaana khaane nehi dungi. I'm not sorry for what I did." Maahir said to Bulbul, "Ok bohot achcha kiya jo kuch bhi kiya lekin auntynaani ka gussa aapne sab par nikaala hai na, aapki naani bhi nehi kha paayi.""Par kisine protest bhi to nehi kiya meri tarah...", Bulbul slammed Maahir and he understood that it was impossible for anyone to explain Bulbul anything at that moment and even if anyone does, she would not understand a bit so he decided to take Bulbul out with him for breakfast where at least she would cool down and would listen to him. Mrs. Sarna said, "Haay rabba! Satyanaash kar diya har cheez ka, saare khaana khaane bethe the aur ye larki..." She looked at Bela and continued, "Menu maaf karna Bela puttar par ye jo teri kudi hai na itni badtameez hai ke kya batau, dekh kya gand machaaya hua hai." Maahir saw that Bela was extremely embarrassed with Bulbul's act and she was unable to say anything and then he said to Madhu, "I'm really very sorry saasumom but abhi na isko samjha kar koi faayda nehi hai, main isko na bahaar lekar jaata hu varna iska na dimaag thanda nehi hona hai." Saying he held Bulbul's hand and took her away from there.
