I want to start my life off right,
On a good path without the darkness of night.
I wish I could have an easy life
But I wouldn't have this drive.
The drive to make something of myself.
The drive to do my best no matter what's on the shelves.
I strive to be happy
But with the cards fate gave me I'm feeling pretty snappy.
I don't want to push you away
But feel that if I didn't you still wouldn't stay.
