ENFP-T(Wish Upon a Star)

My eyes are wide
As I stare at the glow of the white moonlight.
I'm searching for the truth.
They say it'll set you free, right?
The beauty of space.
I'd kill just to touch the sky tonight.
My wish upon the star
Is to learn what I truly want in life.

The shining stars
Are as erratic as my thoughts.
In the prison of the mind,
Freedom cannot be bought.
Doubts surround you,
And before you know it, you're caught.
If only I'd never learned
All the lies that I've been taught.

To have such space
As I see in the sky
Would be blessing beyond compare.
Maybe enough that I wouldn't want to die.
Why can't I just breathe?
My deep breaths become sighs
As I look at the black canvas above
And wish upon the stars, that I had such beauty in my life.
