Thank you to @Ada_flying_solo for requesting this. I was honestly scared to do this ship because I've never written Deceit, but hopefully this was good.

Don't be afraid to point out mistakes so I can fix them!

In this Au, Patton and Deceit are invisible to all humans.

TW: Mentions of anxiety attacks, kissing. I think that's it, but if I missed something please tell me.

Patton's POV

I walked down the white halls heading to head office. They hadn't said what they wanted me for so I just hoped that it wasn't anything bad. I stopped in front of the big golden doors. Taking a big breath I pushed open the doors and walked through.

"Patton! Good to see you come on in!" The head Angel, Thomas said.

"Good morning Thomas," Patton said walking over where the head Angel stood.

"Good morning! Now to talk about what we called you here for." Thomas said. "As you know every child gets a guardian angel to watch over them when they turn 13. Well the child you will be assigned to turns 13 tomorrow. His name is Virgil."

"Really?! Oh yes! I already love that little kiddo!"

"Good," Thomas chuckled. "Your first day is tomorrow! Good luck"

"Thank you, Sir!"

*Time Skip*

I look around Virgil's room. The purple walls are covered in Tim Burton, Panic! At the Disco, and My Chemical Romance posters. A black bungee chair sits in one corner by a glass tank. Looking into the tank I see a hairy tarantula. Trying to hold back a scream I scramble to the other side of the room vowing to never go near that side of the room. As I near the bed I hear small whimpers. Looking down at the sleeping Virgil. I see tears streaming down his cheeks. Putting a hand on his forehead I chase away the nightmare with dreams of a Panic! concert. Slowly his tears stop and a small smile graces his face. I bend down and gently press a kiss to Virgil's forehead.

"Thank you so much for not ruining all my hard work," A smooth, sarcastic voice says. I whip around and see a demon sitting in the bungee chair. In the dim lighting I can barely make out snake scales across the left side of his face. A scar runs across his cheek just under the cheek bone. His left eye is a bright green while the right is a deep brown.

"Who are you?" I say standing protectively in front of the still sleeping Virgil.

"I'm definitely not Deceit," the demon says.

"What are you doing here?"

"The same thing as you, I was sent to look over our dear Virgil." Deceit said standing up and taking a step towards Virgil.

"Stay away from him," I growl.

"Don't worry, I won't be back," Deceit snarls unfurling his dark wings. I watched as he flew away, my heart racing.

I spent the rest of the night thinking about the Demon. No matter what I did, I couldn't get him out of my head. The way his snake eye seemed to be able to see straight (Gay, ha beat y'all to it) through me and into my soul. How his black wings had small gold accents if you looked closely. How he lied in almost every sentence and the look of enjoyment thatlying gave him.

Looking over towards the black bungee chair where he had been sitting I sighed. I definitely do not like that demon.

A few days had passed since I last saw Deceit which I thought was weird. I thought he would have tried to get to Virgil more than just the one time, but I wasn't complaining. In those days I learned a lot about Virgil. He had severe anxiety which led to him not having many friends. I had already helped calm him down from two anxiety attacks and I hadn't even been with him for a week. He wore black almost every day and would occasionally wear a little purple. I helped him meet a kid named Logan and they quickly became friends.
