"This is insane.", I said reading the five words. "Oh yeah, because this was your wife's idea. She got this draft ready and asked me to get your approval sir.", He said blushing slightly. "Damn.. this is like some dream come true.", I said staring at the card.
"So, will you, Anthony Edward Stark marry me?", He said going down on his knee as I stood grounded on my spot. He had his hand out for me to clasp. "Obviously! I'm not gonna let that ass go, will I?", I said holding his hand as he stood up. Our eyes met, everything seemed so perfect for this brief moment as he finally leaned in and kissed me.
This was nothing like out first one, this was a passionate kiss. The kiss we had longed for for all these years of our life. We pulled away panting for breath. I smiled at him.
"We have a war to fight.", I said, his hands were wrapped around my waist. "And I don't want to lose you in that." "I'll try.", I said kissing him on his cheek. "I know you will. Everything will be okay.", He said. "And when are we getting tied into holy matrimony?", I asked. "Day after tomorrow.", He said as he pecked my lips. "Cool.", I said with a smirk.
"You're up to some work tonight?", I asked. "Mmmm.. no.", Steve replied giving a serious thought. "Well then we can do something that begins with s–" "And ends with x.", He said with a wink. "Ah, there you are behaving like a good husband.", I said before pulling him in another kiss.

Next morning I woke up late, which I quite obvious, and Mr. Rogers and decided to leave by the time I woke up. I yawned and sat up on the bed.
"So how was last night, Mr. Stark?", I turned with a start. "Rogers, you're gonna give me a heart attack some day.", I said heaving a breath of relief. "Oh yeah?", He asked with a raised brow. "I'm not joking.", I said looking at him for a while. "Get ready sir, we're marrying tomorrow.", He said reading some book. "And it's gonna be the best day of my life.", I said fondly. "Then let us make it better, Tony.", He said walking up to me. "We are adopting Peter.", He added as I stared at him for a while. "Wait, what?!" "Yes, he said he definitely likes us, especially you because you remind him of someone he loves, so there you go..", Steve said with a wink. "We're actually doing it? We're seriously adopting that kid, are we?", I asked getting all excited, after years. "Yes, Tony. Everything will be okay now.", He said placing a hand on my cheek and looking deep into my eyes.
"I love you, Steven Grant Rogers.", I whispered. "I love you too, Anthony Edward Stark.", He whispered as his words sent chills down my spine.
