The entrance to the TARDIS is opened. The Doctor and Leela enter.
Doctor:
Welcome to the TARDIS. Time and relative dimensions in space. The best ship in the universe.
Mia:
Funny design if I must...
She enters next – stunned.
But... how?
Doctor:
Trans-dimensional engineering.
Leela:
And we can travel anywhere in time or space.
Mia:
Incredible. So Doctor, you can collect up cavemen like Leela then?
Leela:
I am not a caveman! I am a warrior of the Sevateem!
Doctor:
Leela!
Leela is still suspicious of her, as she prepared to slip out her knife. Mia notices the damaged K-9, and rushes over to him.
Mia:
Is he alright?
Doctor:
Yes. He just hasn't experienced anything quite so devastatingly powerful to his circuits before.
Mia:
Poor thing.
The Doctor strongly lifts K-9 back down onto the ground. He unplugs a circuit from the TARDIS console and turns the dog upside down, slotting the circuit into him.
Doctor:
Circuit regeneration might be risky considering the state he is in. But it's the best he can do.
K-9 has begun rebooting himself now, as the Doctor strokes him carefully before jumping back up.
It should take some time for him to reboot his circuits. Well Mia, you lead the back to your place.
