Chapter 22

Vanessas P.O.V.

"Tomorrow's it everybody the last leg of this quarter you all made it. Give yourselves a round of applause" Professor smiled clapping her hands as we all cheered when the bell rang "See you all tomorrow" He smiled as we gathered our things

I smiled walking out the room over to my locker putting my things inside when it was slammed shut revealing Shawn

"I've been looking everwhere for you" He taunted making me back up "So you think you and your crazy boyfriend can get away for what you did to me" He said when I looked at him really good seeing both his eyes the shade of purple with a swollen lip and crutches

"It wasn't my fault and that happened last week" I said in disbelieve that he's still holding a grudge about it

"I don't give a fuck if it was last year look what he did to me. And it's all because of you and you're gonna regret it" He said when thr girls walked over

"Get away from her you freak" Kendall said pulling me back

"What did you say to her" Mathew said pushing him against the locker

"Mathew it's ok" I said pulling him back

"Stay away from her or you'll never see the break of dawn again" Chantel threatened before walking me away from him. I looked back one last time seeing him struggling to get up

"What did he say to you" Kendall asked as we walked outside

"He said he was gonna get me back for what Jason has done to him" I sighed and to be honest I understand why he's still mad but I don't think he should take his anger out on me over something I really didn't have any control over

"He really just needs to disappear" Kendall said shaking her head when we stopped. I looked up seeing Jason getting out his car when he looked at me and smiled

"I'll see you guys later" I smiled walking over to Jason hugging him

"Hey baby" He smiled holding me up against him "how was school" he asked as I smiled

"It was calm and fast" I sighed I missed you" I smiled as he smirked pressing his lips to mine as we moved in a slow sync when I tasted cigarettes making me scoff shoving him off of me

"Have you been smoking" I asked making him sigh opening my door

"It doesn't matter" He said making me roll my eyes when he grabbed ahold of my chin turning my face his way

"And what habe I told you about rolling your eyes at me" He said. I just sighed getting into the car. I really didn't feel like arguing with him today all I wanted was to have a good day but judging how fast Jasons mood could change it sometimes doesn't always happen.

Jason got into the car before driving off. He rested his hand on my thigh gripping it making me look down caressing his hand softly looking out the window seeing he passed our way to our house

"Where are we going" I asked looking back before looking at Jason

"I have to take care of something then we can go home" Jason said keeping his eyes on the road. I nodded sitting back watching all the cars pass by as we drived farther and farther from the city leaving me confused on where he was going that was so far but I wasn't conplaining the most time I had with Jason the better.

We soon pulled up in the middle of nowhere with a big old warehouse

"Where are we" I asked looking around seeing the lake out afar

"Well you wanna know about my job so come on" He said before getting out. I put on my jacket sense it was getting chilly outside when Jason opened my door for me taking my hand into his before we walked towards the building

"What do you do here" I asked looking around observing everything

"Kill and stash bodies here" He said making my eyes widen backing up as he laughed grabbing a hold of my waist "I'm kidding" He said opening the door when the lights flicked on.

We walked inside as he closed the door and I smelt the smell of weed and cigarettes making me scrunch my nose in disgust

"Don't you think it should air out in here it wreaks" I said holding my nose as he laughed

"It smells fine to me" He shrugged making me playfully roll my eyes as he walked over to the table shuffling around. While he was doing whatever he was doing I decided to look around. I walked into a room when the lights cut on seeing lots and lots of mercenary guns everywhere and on the table was thousands and millions of dollars making my eyes widen.

When I was younger I've been to so many places with my mom when she worked in a bank and you think you'd see millions of dollars just sitting in one spot but never in my life have I see this much money. I picked up a hundred dollar bill being the idiot I was at the moment not knowing that it could lead to an alarm going off. The alarm went off making me jump when guns were aimed at me making me gasp. I was pulled when the guns went off shooting in the direction that i was standing before i got pulled away when they soin stopped.

"Are you crazy" Jason yelled pulling me away from the room

"I'm sorry I didn't know" I said

"Don't touch anything that doesn't belong to you it could've killed you" Jason said

"I'm sorry Jason" I said

"Just sit down and don't move" He said before walking away. I sat down looking around the room seeing many different rooms but couldn't see what was inside sense the doors was closed

I heard the entry door open when I saw a big buff guy walk in. He closed the door looking at me when he aimed his gun at me making me gasp

"Who the fuck are you" He spat making me jump when Jason walked out the room looking up at me before the guy

"What the fuck are you doing put the gun down" Jason barked before walking over to me grabbing my hand

"Oh I didn't know she was with you" He said putting his gun away

"What the hell are you doing here anywhere" Jason said

"Well I have to talk to you about you know" He said looking at me then Jason when Jason looked at me

"Baby can u wait outside for me" Jason whispered in my ear

"But Ja-" I started when he cut me off

"Go" He said making me sigh before walking out. I walked out to the car before getting inside sense it was getting cold out. I ran a hand through my hair holding my knees against my chest wondering what him and Jason could be talking about.
