❥ Rose's POV -
the next night

It's around 5pm once I finish all my classes for the day.
I check my phone and see a few texts from Nessa

From Nessa
Rose! Come over to my dorm!

From Nessa
We can get ready together to the party!

From Nessa
My dorm number is 203

To Nessa
Sure thing! I'll be there in 10

I text her then also text Shawn to meet me at 7pm.

I get to dorm 203 and knock.

"Rose!" She yells and pulls me in for a hug.

"Hey Nessa!!!"

I walk inside and see another girl sitting on a bed.

"Rose this is Jess. Jess, Rose." she introduces us.

"Hey" I say kindly while I shake her hand.

"So let's get ready!" Nessa claps her hands and looks at me smiling.
She was always so happy. I wish I was like that.

"Actually I don't really have anything to wear" I say shyly.

"Oh I have plenty of choices" she says as she opens her wardrobe to a literal fashion store.

"How the -" I get cut off by Tiana

"She just has this thing with clothes" she rolls her eyes, laughing.

"I think it's a problem" Nessa says, smiling.

"Well, pick anything you like."

I try out a few dresses and they looked alright but I wanted to find the perfect one. So I try on a few more before I see this sparkly silver v neck dress that's just calling my name.

I try it out and the girls look at me in awe.

I blush a bit.

"It's perfect!" Nessa squeals

"You look amazing!" Tiana says "whoever your taking tonight is gonna fucking drool over you when they see you in that!"

"Wait who exactly are you taking?" Nessa questions.

"Well" I look down. "Please don't freak out but I'm kind of taking this guy I've been seeing ever since I've moved here."

"And you haven't TOLD ME!?" Nessa's voice rises in excitement.

"Well this guy. Well he is kinda uh"

"Just spill it" Tiana yells.

"Shawn Mendes?"

Their eyes both suddenly widen.

"Oh my god your bringing Shawn Mendes to the party?" Nessa squeals.

"Holy crap that will totally bring this party over the roof!" Tiana adds.

"Wait a second ur dating Shawn freaking Mendes!? Are you for real!?"

"Well I don't know if I'm dating him I mean it's not offical but - "

"Oh my god your totally dating him!" Nessa cuts me off.

"How's he in bed?" Tiana asks.

"Okay no. We hadn't done anything close to that yet."

"Have u kissed?" Nessa asks.

I bite my lip just of the thought of our kiss.

Nessa notices "you totally have! Oh my god"

"Okay yes but please just act like he's any other random stranger at the party please! Just try not to cause to much attention towards him."

"Of course" they both nod.

Anyway what's the dorm room number for that party. I need to text Shawn where to go.

"204" Nessa tells me. "It's just next door"

To Shawn
Come to floor 2 and room 204. It's where the party's at.

He immediately replies.

From Shawn
On my way! Will be there in 15. Can't wait to see you <3

"AWEEE" I hear them whine and I look behind me to see them both staring at my phone.

"Heyyy" I push them away.

"Let's go girls!" Nessa yells and we walk out and go next door.

I can already hear the loud music playing the second her dorm room door opens.

We walk into room 204 and I can already tell this was going to be a good night.
